Where exactly in the Carpathians? If Marmorosh,or Chernogora, (possibly Chivchin or Beskydy, Gorgany) then I'll be in there somewhere at that time.

Well, I'll write it, even though I'm a rare guest in the forums. In June-July, there are plans to go to Austria, the middle mountains of the Alps.

Write us when you are going to leave. Maybe we'll cross paths. And where exactly in Austria?

We don't know exactly where yet. Maybe west of Graz. Can you recommend interesting places for catching butterflies and beetles?

This part of Austria is very interesting, and I would like to go fishing there next season. I don't know the exact locations, but I'll ask an Austrian friend. And best of all, come to Hungary or Slovenia, where I am well-versed.

If it's not a secret - when and to what places? If you are given a vacation after a six-month sick leave in the spring, then there is also a desire to go to Thailand.
By the way, mass riots and the blockade of airports do not frighten?

I want to go to Chang Mai and spend 4-5 days on the coast. Hopefully, the riots will be over by then.

Something is not visible in Primorye... Either everyone changed their mind or the crisis affected them. I'm still going, but I'm not going alone.

Obrucheva Mountain range in Tuva, on the border with Mongolia , is an amazing place. I have met tt three times there. I got it right. And I want to, too. At the top, the reindeer of the north are walking, waving their horns. And below is the Mongolian steppe. He found a butterfly there and described it. Parnassius nomion drops into sauce glasses.

Papis:
What time is it?

Dantist:
manteau on Haverla and Petros. I wouldn't mind going there myself, by the way, but we'll see..

By the way, who has any suggestions and tips for July-August? Otherwise, the spring will most likely be packed to the fullest, and in the summer it would be necessary to go to a good place smile.gif

The beginning of Spring, somewhere in late March, I'm going to Mount Semashkho for a male afaonus, the beginning of April for a week in Kalmykia, where the oka did not come up, I'll look at the map of Reshu, then the Guam and Lagonak ranges, then the Gruzinka ridge(behind the procerus), most likely I'll set traps on Taman, a total search of the rocky ridge will be made(most likely there will be a new type of tribax, but we need a male), a week-long visit to the Fishta massif is also planned, with a further descent to Sochi, in July, if it works out, an expedition to Abkhazia, August will go to check the traps... I hope that most of the above will work out, if anyone wants to, join us, welcome beer.gif

Offtop
About the next season in the Moscow Region; in the near future, a week (or even two) is expected (and already underway) with temperatures of -2 - -6 degrees, without snow cover. How does this affect insects?

I plan to be in Issyk-Kul from July 1 to July 16. I'll catch them on Dolon and eastern Choons, if the crisis doesn't kill me. Write

An interesting question for those who will be in Central Asia - will anyone catch the light? Or as usual only during the day?

14.12.2008 12:20, swerig

If by car, then I will take the generator without fail

23.12.2008 22:28, Batrachuperus

And no one is going to Kazakhstan in March? Or Vietnam in May? I would like a travel companion.

23.12.2008 23:29, Николаевич

I'm planning a trip to Sudan and then on to Ethiopia.
I will hitchhike this part of the route.
The goal, let me clarify, is not to collect insects, but for sure
a ton of rocks and other litter will be turned over in their search
to satisfy their amateur ento-appetite.
Now I collect information about the route, so who has
it share it about Ethiopia, vaccinations/interesting places/and even maybe
the address of friends where you can spend the night, etc. from your personal
experience(during the Ethiopian-Moscow friendship period, for example).
Most likely, there will be a question about the export of several
dozen dry insects.I assume in the Ef.
no one will rummage at the airport. But in neighboring Kenya(where you can go by inertia,
and from where it is cheaper to fly) it is better not to joke with this?

Calm down, Sergey. We've been thinking and thinking, but it's just not up to it right now. Yes, and we need to see how further events in the country will develop: -)

Batrachuperus:
what is interesting in Kazakhstan in March? And the offer is basically interesting wink.gif

24.12.2008 12:35, Yakovlev

To Mongolia, if possible, to Tuva in the spring, probably
, but in two weeks to Hokkaido
It's already 2009
