Bees confidently come out on the 1st place in the Red Books - study bees!!! While there is something to learn... the bad thing is that in the Russian Federation, no one at the top itches - they are waiting for their " fried rooster to bite in..."...

.... and there is also the "usual" extinction of bees-just increased in size. If earlier a tenth of them died in a year, now foreign beekeepers are talking about the death of 20 to 40% of insects... Approximately the same figures are called by local beekeepers — who sharply intensified all sorts of measures to combat pests (ticks there...) and diseases of their winged workers.

But why do we not notice these phenomena in the honey rows of the local market? Yes, because humanity also has a sugar industry. A car full of sugar bags bounces over the potholes: this is the "beekeeper" taking food to his "honey factory". Through a series of simple measures (much simpler than the fight against ticks and diseases), the bee's productivity in distilling sugar into a pseudomede is brought to astronomical values. True, the insect itself lives for a few days, but the cost of the "product" falls below the "ground water level"...— and that the value of such "honey factories" for pollination is identical to zero...

From this it is not difficult to understand why honey is usually bought from familiar beekeepers - from generation to generation, since beekeepers live a long time. And there are fewer traditional beehives: for example, Swiss beekeeping expert Professor Peter Neumann said that after the Anschluss of the GDR, the number of bee colonies in Germany decreased by 75 %. No Holocaust was arranged for the bees: just chemicalization of agriculture, artificial fertilizers and herbicides with pesticides.

Moreover, there are new, artificially bred plant varieties. (In the Non-Black Earth region, bees began to die out intensively just with their arrival...) and also-globalization, which, despite all the efforts of sanitary services, brings new pathogenic microorganisms, ticks, fungi, viruses and bacteria. The immune system of bees, according to Professor Neumann, weakened, bee colonies collapsed and died out. (Please note: this is a report from the UN, not a left-leaning anti-globalist newspaper...)

Read more here, but the translation is bad... there are a lot of semantic inconsistencies...

It turns out that there are two main reasons:
1. Inconsistency of interests - some need parks without insect bites, others need honeybees and bees wink.gif.
2. "Delayed spring effect" - one species gets an artificial advantage that affects the number, and then the bulls... natural regulators are activated wink.gif

There are rare species in nature at the moment - just their time has not come, but they are more often considered from the point of view of administrative division, in Russia it is rare in Kazakhstan it is common, although according to zoogeographic selections it should be so.

Therefore, the question of including insects in the CC in general and insects in particular (see the definition of harmfulness in the definition of Heb. Part of the USSR in 1948) is more nominative - to increase one's own status and the general trend (the greenhouse effect and other newfangled "research directions" for money), and so this is the hunter's handbook (they are not published now).

Save Samara Luka!

Soon, thousands of hectares of land in the Samara Luka National Park will be left unprotected. Have time to protect the Volga nature from development!
Let's protect Samara Luka!

The threat of destruction of the Samara Luka National Park has become real.

Officials of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment excluded 7,000 hectares of protected areas from the protected and specially protected areas of the Samara Luka National Park.

This means that now it is possible to legalize economic or tourist activities in a large part of the park's territory and build any objects, even cottages, even a tourist complex.

Previously, according to the law, it was forbidden even to stay in the areas included in the protected area of the park without a special permit. Now the habitats of valuable species of animals and plants listed in the Red Books of all levels are left without protection. The park "Samarskaya Luka" is unique, with pre-glacial plants preserved here. However, what the mammoths didn't eat can be destroyed by humans.

The National Park "Samarskaya Luka" together with the Zhiguli Nature Reserve is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This means that the massive construction of the national park will lead to a violation of Russia's obligations under the UNESCO program "Man and the Biosphere".

They have been trying to pull apart the Samara Luka piece by piece for more than 30 years. Almost from the day the park was founded. Dachas of the then nomenclature grew up there, poachers frolicked, and plans for the construction of various objects appeared. But in previous years, it was possible to restore relative order in the park and defend a unique territory.

We ask you to spend two minutes and send a letter to the Minister of Natural Resources with a request to return the territory of "Samarskaya Luka" under protection.

Mikhail Kreindlin
Head of the Greenpeace Russia Program for Specially Protected Natural Areas

P.S. We have preserved the environmental expertise for specially protected natural areas, and we have achieved the restoration of the right to catch poachers for inspectors of nature reserves and national parks. We will achieve the preservation of the "Samara Luka" right now.

It is absolutely necessary to protect protected areas. But the most infuriating thing about such "agitators" is the lack of specifics. Officials, it turns out, have already excluded part of the territory, but there is no reference to the relevant decree. I'll have to find it myself...

Good afternoon, dear forum participants! To be honest, I haven't read all 68 pages of the topic, but I'm still asking a question. Tell me, is there a way (not necessarily very effective) to use a regular car battery (12V) to attract moths? Which light bulbs should I use? Also automobile ones?
Let me explain the goal. To compile a general description of protected areas, we would like to add 5-10 species of moths to the list of entomofauna.
Should I bother? Thanks!
I found this out in the topic "Features of fishing in the light". Maybe it will be useful to someone here - as a mirror.

Russian nature reserves and national parks are under threat again!
New amendments to the law "On Specially Protected Natural Territories" allow to withdraw any areas of nature reserves and national parks, no matter how valuable they may be, "according to separate decisions of the president."

Find out how you can save nature reserves and national parks!

In other words, there is a very serious danger that those who have access to the presidential administration will be able to get the protected lands they need, using this point for commercial purposes. This means that any part of any nature reserve or national park can be withdrawn, built up and deprived of its conservation status.

We call on all those who care about the fate of protected areas in Russia to report this to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. It's easy to do. You need to log in to the site regulation.gov.ru, go to the discussion page of the draft law at this link, vote against the bill. You can also write a comment in the "your suggestions" section. For more detailed instructions, see this page.

I want to save Russian nature reserves and national parks!

Thanks to your support, we have saved Russian nature reserves more than once. The threat is particularly real now. But if there are too many of us, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will be afraid to submit a bill to the Government.

Until October 31, we must leave as many votes as possible against this destructive project!

Thank you for your support!

they allow you to withdraw any areas of nature reserves and national parks, no matter how valuable they may be, "according to individual decisions of the president."

Mikhail Kreindlin, an expert at Greenpeace Russia, of course, is right, but remembering the phrase of the hero S. Kramarov: "You, Associate Professor, of course, are an authoritative thief, but why are you with Mishka?", I want to ask - Oleg, have you read the text of the proposed amendments yourself? In the same place, it is written in Russian in white "Changing the boundaries of specially protected natural territories is allowed if these territories are expanded by including the corresponding land plots and water bodies in their composition, or if land plots and water bodies are excluded from their composition, if this exclusion does not entail a threat to the preservation of natural landscapes and cultural landscapes that of special ecological, aesthetic, scientific and cultural value, and the preservation of biological diversity (including rare, endangered and economically and scientifically valuable objects of flora and fauna and their habitats)."

I didn't go into it, but who knows, let him tell me if there are direct instructions or references to bylaws that clearly define the threat, aesthetic value, etc., the preservation of biological diversity, etc. In the quote itself, alas, only one very specific word: allowed; everything else is just dust in the eyes. Just the other day I accidentally remembered (in "Tales of the entomologist") about the Imereti lowland (I even referred to the page about protected areas there)... If all these abstractions are deciphered in the bill or a reference is given with the exception of various interpretations, then this is at least a little better; if, as usual, it is not, then the law once again turns, according to the classic, into a positive sanction of lawlessness.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia has opened access to the developed official page of the Year of Ecology on the Internet at www.ecoyear.ru
As the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia Sergey Donskoy noted, the Year of Ecology should become a significant event in the public life of the country, attract the attention of the widest segments of the population. "It is important to combine the entire range of events that are taking place across the country, both at the federal and regional levels, within one communication platform," the Minister said.
The official website of the Year of Ecology in Russia has a concise, modern design that fully corresponds to its theme.
The main page of the site contains updates to the news section and at the same time serves as a "communication node", informing the user about the structure and content of the site.
The site also provides an interactive section "Event Map", which uses geonavigation to display events of the Year of Ecology on the map of Russia. When you click on the placemark corresponding to a specific event, a panel opens with a description of the event. The interactive map is currently being completed.
Thanks to the latest technology of "responsive design", the website of the Year of Ecology in Russia is adapted for use on all mobile platforms and devices.

I read it at the beginning of the topic:

He was particularly moved by his words:"it is impossible to teach people to appreciate and love nature only from books or photographs, and therefore people should be able to see everything with their own eyes."

Yes, exactly. You can love nature only by communicating with it and seeing its best sights and objects. And I like the idea of ecotourism in nature reserves , at least in their buffer zone. The quality of ecological tours will improve: people will see places of pristine nature, and accordingly the number of ecotourists will increase ("quality product - more demand"). And the more ecotourists, the fewer "ecobandits", the better the knowledge of society about nature; plus, nature reserves will earn additional money for development and transition to self-sufficiency.
Nature conservation, education, not "reserves for scientists". Tours in buffer zones-balance of "didactics and protection"... I don't see any serious flaws in the idea. There are more pluses!

The buffer zone of a nature reserve is not a nature reserve. These are most often rural settlements. where it is forbidden to use toxic chemicals, arrange fireballs and ... and, also, coordinate any construction with the reserve. Please note that I worked in a federal biosphere reserve, with a UNESCO diploma and all that stuff. Well. as you can tell, you can see the fallen at least by the smoke. And construction on land where the cadastre does not indicate an encumbrance is not prohibited. You never know what the governor's decree is...
