I am sure that the geography and better photos would significantly help to establish the species identity of these bedbugs smile.gif
Such bedbugs are not dangerous to humans and do not cause him any harm. Therefore, there is no need to fight them smile.gif

geography - North Caucasus Federal District. Stavropol Territory. Pyatigorsk. Unfortunately, except for a mobile phone with a dead camera, there is nothing, of course, the photo is of disgusting quality...

Bedbugs, then...I don't like being around them. Two weeks since they moved into this apartment, now worms in their croup, now midges, now bedbugs, not an apartment, but a living area.

I don't even know... the similarity is there, but not complete...
on the one hand, I find them in a room where ficuses grow, on the other - some bites on myself, they itch very much, it seems to be out of season for mosquitoes...
Everything, as I catch more-I'll take a picture normally. thank you.

Leptoglossus occidentalis is. Here's about it: http://molbiol.ru/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t516356.html
It is possible that this is the first find in Stavropol.

Please tell me. Small beetles appeared on the kitchen windowsill. In length 2-3 mm, brown, with antennae, fly, but mostly sit in the corners on the windowsill, curtains. They don't seem to eat anything from food, they don't bite. The body is rigid. We constantly collect them and flush them down the drain. Where they come from and did not understand, but if you do not throw them away, they become sooooo much. How to get rid of it?

Seed beetles are not dangerous. Check your supply of beans and peas.

Larva of the beetle Malachiidae Malachiidae. Larvae are carnivores, preying on other insects and their larvae, living mostly under the bark, some in the stems of herbaceous plants or in the forest floor.

The photo isn't very good, but it's almost certainly a skin-eating beetle. They get into bed by accident. They usually live in dust under cabinets, sofas, etc. or damage animal-derived substrates: wool (for example, in dog litter), leather, dried fish, dry biological collections, etc. Adult beetles fly to the light, during the day on the windows, in the evening on the lamps or on the TV, monitor.

Hello! I've got a lot of trouble here, and in a couple of weeks our family will increase, so it's urgent.
I'll start in order. In the summer, midges appeared at home. Small ones, as far as I've read. fruit flies. Well, we fought them as much as we could, washed them, hid vegetables, and so on. Well, they seem to have disappeared, but not completely, sometimes one or two caught my eye.
Well, recently they began to find such creatures on the curtains and walls. Usually one at a time. They sit listlessly, do not move almost. The size is about 15 millimeters in length, maybe a little smaller. Tell me what it is and where to look for their location. Thank you in advance.

This is an elephant beetle (weevil), most likely from the genus Otiorhynchus (mower). You are fighting them already, as I see it, successfully-with a sneaker kick wink.gif. They are in your apartment by accident-apparently, they spend the winter: there is nothing to harm them in your home. They are not dangerous for humans.

Some single wasps, according to such photos it is not clear, are not dangerous for humans in principle. Most often they enter the house in the ground of flower pots exposed to the street in the summer, and in winter they are brought out in the heat at the wrong time, they fly to the windows for light, they want to get out into the street. They have nothing to eat in the apartment, and within a week or two they will come out and starve to death.

This is Otiorhynchus sulcatus, whose larvae develop on the roots of indoor plants. You probably bought potted flowers, but now the beetles are out, and they've started crawling around the apartment.

This is a gorgeous creature, although not an insect. Centipede-flycatcher, in Latin Scutigera, a strong hunter. If I were you, I wouldn't exterminate this very useful animal. Runs on walls, hunts flies, mosquitoes, moths and other insects. It won't bite you - it won't want to and it won't be able smile.gifto, so you'd better leave it, it will only benefit you.

I read a little here, it looks like a leather eater. But I want to make sure.
Suddenly appear for a while, then suddenly disappear. They live mainly in the kitchen, but in cereals and the like have never been seen. I've never seen any maggots. They fly. They crawl fearlessly, but when they touch, they press their paws and pretend to be dead, as in the second photo. Sometimes there are irritations on the skin, as if from bites, but they themselves were not noticed during the case. The length is about 2 mm, always the same size.

No, it's not a leatherworm. This is a beetle from the family of grinders (Anobiidae) - Lasioderma serricorne (tobacco beetle). Look for the source of reproduction in the kitchen (in dried plants, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, etc.).
P.S. Bites and redness on the skin have nothing to do.

Thank you very much. A more thorough search of the kitchen revealed a large quantity of breadcrumbs, which had not been used for a long time and were gathering dust aimlessly. Oh, we need to carefully monitor the products.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH SOME ADVICE!!!!
I have three children, now 9 months pregnant, and there are skin-eating beetles in the house!!!!!
We completed the second floor of the house in the summer. Everything was fine, only about a month later I began to find on the floor (as it turned out later) leatherworm larvae. There were more and more of them. Couldn't figure out where. All baseboards, cracks, mattresses, etc. proshparivala steam generator. A couple of days - full again! They were treated a couple of times with some kind of spray from bottles like dichlorvos, sprinkled with powder bought at an insect control store, diluted some ampoules in water and sprayed .....Then we realized that they were falling from the ceiling!!!!!
Then we invited the exterminators and they said that the larvae were in the mineral wool-the roof insulation. In October, the roof was disinfected. The guys said that the dose was made lethal and almost 100% guarantee Passed another 4 months and then it started....if earlier it was beaten by larvae, now it is beetles from larvae!!!
I reported to these exterminators, they said that they would come and redo it. Like, increase the dose....carefully blow through those corners where it is difficult to reach.
question: HOW DANGEROUS IS ALL THIS STUFF FOR KIDS???!!!! After the first disinsection, we did not live on the second floor of the house for 3 months, so that everything would fade, etc. But now we do not have such an opportunity, because I will soon give birth and have nowhere else to live. The day after tomorrow, I'm taking my children to my mother - in-law's house for a week of vacations, and they'll be processed that day, and then, a week later, I'll go back and prepare for childbirth.
WHAT TO DO??!?!?!??!!

19.03.2015 23:39, Alexandr Zhakov

You do much more harm to yourself and your children with disinfection than the harm caused by skin eaters. If the larvae are crawling, then they've eaten everything they could and are now looking for something else to eat. smile.gif)
Wait out do not poison yourself and your children, if they have nothing to eat, then they will disappear as before.

instead of protecting children from harmful products, toxic emissions, etc., people are afraid of insects. Yes, be glad that they live with you, so not everything is so bad!
