For the last three years, I have noticed huge caterpillars about 20 cm long on the street. Color - black with blue rectangular spots on the sides. I didn't think to take a picture.
I live 40 km from Blagoveshchensk (Amur region).

Hello, help me determine what kind of larva. My wife finds one on the floor every day. I want to understand where to look for the source of these little assholes (about 1cm). The photo is not very good, because the wife is afraid of them and apparently took a picture on the sneaker at the time of the massacre.

Caligula japonica? But 20 cm is too much, of course...

Good afternoon! More than a month ago, a child was found to have bed beetles in his room. Of course, a special service was called, everything was processed ( after processing, they found only 2 corpses). Now there are no bites, I check the bed every day ( even sometimes at night), everything is clean. But the source of infection is from neighbors who did not do the processing. So I'm afraid those things will come running again. A couple of times I found black crystals on the sheet ( probably bedbug poop). I have 2 questions: 1) Is it possible to completely get rid of bedbugs after 1 special treatment, or is it better to repeat the treatment 2) How do kaki bedbugs look (like they should be round, not crystal)

help me identify the caterpillar in the photo. Recently, one or two pieces have been falling from the ceiling every day. I live in a wooden house, they climb out from under the ceiling skirting board in one room.IMAG0455.jpg

Hello, help me determine who it is and how to deal with them? I started noticing it on the monitor. Barely visible, less than mm... I took a picture using a macro nozzle on the phone's camera, otherwise there is no way.

Good afternoon. We moved to a new apartment, new building, 12 floor / 14 of the house.
After a month of living, I noticed a very small animal on the tablet(I think a millimeter of the floor, but somehow the pixel runs smile.gif)
I think I crushed it, then I saw another one on the floor. I started looking and found the third one.
I can't make a photo - it's too small. At home, the cat(home, all my life at home), but the bug does not seem to bite anyone, no one itches, there are no bite marks on the skin.
By type:
Very small-0.5-1mm, like an oval shape, beige-transparent, does not jump, runs fast for its size.

Without a photo with much greater efficiency, you can guess on coffee grounds. And yet, I will assume that these are hay eaters (Psocoptera).

20.09.2014 22:38, Владимир243

From the photos in gul, it seems to be similar. They calmed down at least a little that these are not bedbugs. Thank you. I read about it on the Wiki. A hay eater can end up in Penza, in a city where the current temperature is 15 during the day and 0 at night?
And there is no way to take a picture, I don't have such a camera that I would catch it )

And what can prevent it from appearing? He lives in an apartment, not on the street. Although they are now in the forest (in particular, on mushrooms) full - only other species.

Hello!
I live in the north of China, in the city of Tianjin. There were beetles in the bathroom. They react to light. Help us determine what kind of creatures they are.

A similar question has already been asked, but I did not find a complete answer, maybe later answered, but search in 100 pages of the forum... I tried using a search on the forum, but something hands that do not grow from there...
In general, my question is this: we have small beetles in our office, like tiny ants, which stink terribly of ahem-ahem poop. If you crush it, you won't wash your hands. You can't crush them, they also stink in general. What it is, where it came from, and how to get rid of it. Especially the latter is interesting, it smells terrible from them.
A similar question can be found on page 31:
Nikolay Glubokov, 27.10.2008 02: 40
Recently, for no reason at all, when working at a desk, it suddenly began to apply a very unpleasant smell from somewhere, but simply began to stink of shit. And then I saw a bug, and I pressed it down on the table, and the smell increased, and I sniffed it.. Oh my God!!!! my fingers stank like hell!!! the smell of indole.
I barely washed my hands with hot water and soap twice.
After a while, I noticed that they appear in the area of the monitor (apparently they like heat), and then horror in general-they became noticeable in bed (!). Even if they are not pressed, their presence at a distance of 30-40 cm is determined by a strong smell.
Who is it???
And most importantly-how to exterminate them??
I attach photos of these animals, I have already taken dead ones and one live one on a match.
Gentlemen, experts, please help me, otherwise it already seems to me (or maybe it's true) that they bite me at night...

These are some parasitic hymenoptera. They can't pose any danger to you. This is the first time I've ever heard about the smell from them. Can someone in the know clarify the situation?

These are most likely such small parasitic hymenoptera - the family Bethylidae. Many parasitize on beetles.

SOS!!!! A story about a bird tick. They bite some creatures, I couldn't find them for several days, and I saw bedbugs and fleas, but now I really can't find anyone. Spaustya days three and heaps of bites on the body, I feel stings, move clothes, vizhk point less than 1mm, take it, masonry on a white sheet, moves quickly, round shape. The camera did not give anything to micrograph, just a grayish-brownish dot. The next day, I also found a second snake on myself in the same way. And ak per day for 1 pc. Only 4 so far. There are already more than 30 bites. Itching, severe redness, antihistamines hardly help+advantan cream. I want to hang myself without them. I searched the entire Internet, and found a description of a bird tick in your topic. Fits 100% Now I understand from where. No birds at home, no balcony. 1st floor Either from their basement or from the street. Again, there are no birds in the basement. I remembered the incident. We were walking in the park about 10 days ago, when we got into the car, I suddenly felt a terrible burning sensation on my body, from the front to the back. They picked up their clothes, tried to shake them off, but found nothing. The next day, itchy bites appeared. And three days after the incident in the park, my nightmare story with the elusive bloodsuckers began. They breed on me, but I wash. Called the SES will come in 2-3 days not earlier, or even later. I don't know what to do. my daughter has already been bitten. Maybe someone will tell you what to do.

Help! Save me! Urgently! The kitchen is full of tiny beetles! Very small, the cubs are barely visible at all. You can't take a picture. They are gray in color with antennae, the speed of movement is average. I used to see them under the cabinet, but now there was an army of them near the sink. I found photos in net that were more or less similar. What is it and how to deal with it?

We were sitting under a matchbox! I picked them up, there are a whole bunch of them, who have spread out where, the sun was still shining brightly, they are such a gray light color, they shine in the sun. And their babies, they're black, just black crawling dots. By the way, children crawl faster than their parents.

So without you figured out that it nogokhvostki. Because they are tiny, white, gray with a mustache. They jump, which is the most important thing! I tried to poison myself from bedbugs - to no avail. Dichlorvos is useless. How to get these fiends out?

02.10.2014 20:20, KonstaZ

lekalegko, I'm sorry, I rarely get here.

I brought them out by spraying them with a solution of aromatic oils in alcohol (lavender, clove, coniferous) and/or a solution of Vietnamese zvezodochka. Beats on the spot and is not harmful, unlike chemistry.

Hello! Can you tell me what kind of creature it might be? It looks like there are four legs, Googling doesn't help. The width is about a centimeter, unfortunately, I can't say more precisely.

In autumn and winter, even at subzero temperatures, I hear an incomprehensible sound on the street, this sound comes from the roof of houses and periodically moves, a sound similar to the chirping of a grasshopper but with a strong metallic echo, I first heard it a few years ago, at first I thought that a cricket but it seems that it can not chirp at - 10, then I thought that the suspension optics between the houses from the wind chirps, we have snot scattered between the houses, went up to the roof I approach the cable no sound is not from it, it seems to be between the roof and the ground and again began to move, the sound can abruptly disappear and then reappear.
The sound itself, the microphone is bad, in real life it sounds a little different.

Good day! I recently moved into another rented apartment, and there I found this ...

IMG_0961.JPG IMG_0957.JPG IMG_0959.JPG

According to the owners, no one lived in this apartment for three months, and no one was cleaned accordingly. The windows had been ajar for most of the summer, and there was plenty of dust, and she was particularly struck by the abundance of sofas. It seems to me that this is a skin-eating larva, but there seem to be no hairs ... upon contact, they freeze, after some time they show activity and try to crawl away. The floor is laminate or parquet, there are cracks ... most likely, there is also enough dust and dirt there. Tell me, please, what is it? and give us a hint on what to do about it? ) Thank you so much in advance!

In principle, it is possible (to determine the genus, and theoretically the species from the best quality photo), but why do you need it? The ways to deal with them are the same: maintaining cleanliness, eliminating dust accumulations, and treating them with insecticides. http://you-doctor.ru/content/view/58/23/ http://c-gc.ru/index/unichtozhenie_kozheedov/0-78
