Today I saw a strange insect. It is about 5 centimeters long, transparent, long, with villi, I did not see the number of paws, the tail is not large, bent sideways like a scorpion. While I was running for a rag, he ran away. I don't know who it is. We are afraid that scorpio.

If it's an insect, it's definitely not a scorpion. Scorpions are arachnids. smile.gif
To do this, you need a photo.

Hello! Please help me determine who it is.
Today on the table I saw a lot of very small crawling " motes "(less than 1mm). They were on almost all the items on the table, but most of all accumulated on a bottle of juice and a jar of jam.

Good afternoon.

Help me determine if a black spot was found on the ceiling today, it turned out to be a bunch of very small worms.

They crawl with their back arched.
you can see it in the shadow.

The size in the photo is greatly enlarged, they themselves are very small..... somewhere 3 mm...

Butterfly caterpillar. Probably scoops. Apparently, a butterfly flew into the room and laid eggs on the ceiling, and caterpillars came out of them. They crawl and rest without food.

hmm. googled the scoops larva... doesn't look like something...
these are small at all. 3mm.
but thank you for your prompt response smile.gif

Xander, do you think that they are born right away? Similar - similar, the abdominal legs show that the butterfly.

fsem is ready!

About two weeks crawling on the walls and on the floor in the apartment here are these beetles (without wings). I've been killing two beetles in the last three days. A slightly different-shaped beetle flew across the room tonight. I'm thinking of woodworms, but I can't Google them.
The dimensions are about a centimeter. Slow ones.

picture: IMG_20150812_232320.jpg

Tell me pliz, what are these monsters.
The first floor, the door to the loggia is now open, theoretically can come to visit from there (if not tree lovers). I don't hear the "death clock" noises. There are plans to move and liberate furniture in search of holes or wood dust.

In the photo-a beetle of the genus Otiorhynchus from the family of elephants (weevils) - Curculionidae. There are random guests in the apartment. They are not dangerous for wood products at all.

One of the weevils. If the door to the loggia is open, especially in the dark, then not such a thing will fly in. How was the absence of wings checked?

While I was typing, Dmitrich had already unsubscribed, and even worse.

Ooo, thank you for reassuring me.
The lack of wings "revealed", because I decided that since they crawl on the walls, it means that they do not fly....smile.gif)) Humanist, chouzhtam

14.08.2015 14:01, ИНО

But it seems that in this case you are right: weevils of this genus just do not have wings. But then you're just lucky to guess. So, they don't fly in, but crawl in. Do you live on the first floor?

14.08.2015 17:30, muto

Yes, the first floor. Loggia with holes (not sealed in depth). I notice beetles in the late afternoon, as soon as it gets dark.
So definitely elephants smile.gif))

Before you asked on a commercial site bortsunov with insects, they say, tell me here in this photo-drevotochets?
They answered: yes, it looks similar.

Look scoundrels, the client is lured....

please tell me what kind of insect it is and how to get rid of it!

These are some kind of bedbugs (order Hemiptera). Post it here in this topic: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=155393&st=2050 - experts of the group can determine more precisely. These are not related to blood-sucking bed beetles. If you find them in your home , they are random (stray) guests, they will not harm you and will disappear as independently wink.gifas they appeared.

we found them today.

21.08.2015 14:17, ИНО

Yes, that's them. I can't,of course., guarantee that this is the same species or even a family, but also acariform mites. Apparently, they liked the coffee. It is better to throw it out, the waste products of these mites can cause allergies and even poisoning.

Thanks for the answer! We threw out not only coffee but also everything that was lying nearby, they managed to spread out from this place by about 50 cm. all the surfaces were washed with ammonia, but every day I find a new batch of such guests. Let's see if we can handle them on our own, or if we still have to call specialists from the SES.

Good afternoon!
I don't know what kind of animal it is, it runs fast, jumps and lives on the rocks by the river. From the assumptions only the larva of a mayfly of some kind. Please tell me who it is?
It's a pity that the photos didn't turn out to be of high quality.
Thank you in advance!

We found the same ones. Initially, we found a very large amount on two bottles of 5 liters of Volzhanka it was on the corks that all the corks were completely in them, It was already suspected that they were brought from a Magnet) We started to look further there is everywhere only in small quantities everywhere a little bit on the dishes and etc 3-4 PCs
What to do help with advice? Who is it? what are they afraid of ? Cold weather? Salt? What to do? There on the video of that person are the same.

Good day!
Two days in a row, I have some animals / caterpillars coming out of the wall (the lower corner of the window slope)... I can't find out who they are or how to deal with them.... A photo search results in two links to this forum, in both cases the authors did not find an answer to their question....
During these two days, they got out about 20-30 pieces, more precisely, I find it difficult to say-we don't count the tc anymore.

Any information on this issue can be sent to my email address ai@kinetics-nail.ru

If anyone knows what it is - please tell me! Thank you in advance!

ps: I live in the Moscow region.
pss: the house is built according to the brick foamlock system, respectively, I can assume that they live somewhere in the foam or in the voids between the masonry. I live in the house for the 2nd year, before that the house was not heated for about 4 years.

Larvae or pre-pupae of some fly

18.09.2015 0:16, guest: Simon

Good evening, entomologists! Tell me, please-who is this? First appeared in the cat's bowl, standing near the refrigerator. We moved the bowl to the opposite wall - they are not there, we check them regularly. But they stayed near the refrigerator and they were already too frown.gifmany The day before yesterday they defrosted it and by the evening there were a lot of them on the freezer door (the freezer is on top, not on the bottom). When crushed, they do not smell, do not grow (!), do not fly. It is logical that they "came" for leftovers, but an Internet search for the query "domestic insects" did not give anything, the last hope is for you wink.gif

The dimensions are just microscopic, the camera almost does not take them wall.gifI will be grateful for the answer and for help, what and how to display them!

But there seems to be no humidity (((help me find out who it is, what they come from and how to deal with them.... You are welcome....follow the video link for clarity

Periodically I meet in my kitchen these unknown cockroaches with long antennae. Their size is small. I met a little more than what is in the photo. I don't see it often. This is clearly not "prusak". Still, I want to know what kind of insect it is. Please tell me.

From an image of this quality, taking into account the fact that this larva is far from the last age, one can only guess. Especially expands the field for guessing the absence of indicating the geographical location of your home. But if this is the European part of the Russian Federation, then there are not so many options. Of these, the most common - prusak-really disappears, it's not him. Blatta orientalis, perhaps? And they are temporarily small. All other candidates are much more exotic, but with the current level of globalization, no one can be completely excluded.

Thank you for your reply.
I will also try to observe and take a better quality photo. I live in Naberezhnye Chelny, Republic of Tatarstan. 8th floor of a residential building. It's the largest specimen I've ever seen in the last six months. Meet 1 time a week, and sometimes 1 time in a couple of months. It's all very mysterious. The kitchen is in perfect order. Let's try to get some fun out of it.

31.10.2015 18:29, ИНО

If they are so rare, why poison them? Do you really want to grab an extra portion of carcinogens? But if they start crawling into food by the thousands, and the walls move (a metaphor about a black cockroach in Russian huts, from a literary work, unfortunately I don't remember which one), then it's another matter. And as long as they do not interfere with you, You do not interfere with them, a person should live in harmony with nature.
