Help me identify it. Western Belarus. The dacha was just invaded. The dacha is under construction. A year ago, the roof was made. The house itself from the block on the walls under the roof climb and on the roof overhangs like ants-whole paths run. Individuals are smaller there are about 1-1.5 cm. While catching on the walls they can jump up and fly a little then sit down again and run

Thank you. Vrod are similar. Why did they rush into the house so en masse? Just climb and climb and climb. Maybe their material attracts what? They won't spoil anything for me how to deal with them?

Please help me! I can't understand what kind of beetles, I've already searched the entire Internet, I didn't find any similar ones! Unfortunately, there are no photos, because they appear only when it gets dark and I can't take a picture, the camera doesn't allow it. Here's the thing. We have a wooden balcony, it all started with the fact that it began to leak, heavy rains poured. After that, I began to notice very small beetles on the balcony, on the windowsill, from about 1mm to 2mm, I did not see such large ones! They are dark gray with two antennae, the legs are small, how many of them did not see. The body is so oval, the top is smooth. Maybe my personal suggestion is that they climb from the tree that stands in front of our window. And recently, I was walking with my husband, I wanted to sit on a stump and, as always, first began to look at if there were any insects there, because I just can't stand them all and just there were the same insects as on my balcony! Never sat frown.gifdown

I have been working in the state news agency for many years and I hear such descriptions every day for 10, or even more. the answer is always the same-give the object! and most importantly-the Internet is EVIL!!! people who are engaged in this business do not have time to write, and those who write, just like you or your neighbors, about how they overcame adversity, using wormwood, toothpaste, corn flour, censer, etc. and so wink.gifon

Thank you for answering of course. The first time I wrote to any group and immediately received such an indignant response! Very unpleasant! And please do not assign me to any people, neighbors, etc. Because I, for example, so to speak, do not use folk remedies. Thank you again. And for the future: you don't know the answer, so why write it in general!?

Solve this very difficult problem will help you this is a miracle cure.

Thank you, of course, for the hint, but your miracle tool will not help in this situation, because firstly they run away from the bright light, and secondly, as I already wrote, I don't have a good camera that could normally take pictures of this creature, because it is very small and in my photo when magnified, it looks like just a speck

02.08.2016 3:18, ИНО

It takes them a while to run away, and you need to be able to take a picture earlier. What kind of camera do you have? It's just that without a photo, talking about" beetles with an oval body and two antennae " (you might think that they come with a different number) is a completely useless waste of time and emotions.

That's how I was able to take a picture, I sat on the balcony for half an hour to find at least one to take a picture

It seems that these are leg-tails, similar in photos from the internet

Are these full-size photos or smaller ones? If they are full-size, then you will have to put at least one lens, such as a magnifying glass, to the camera lens next time. Because so far, despite all your efforts, nothing is visible. Yes, it may well be nogohvostki, as well as many others.

Good evening. I ran into beetles at home. I've never seen it before. We are building a new house, it is already coming to an end, and here such "happiness" has appeared. Maybe someone knows who it is, is it dangerous? They are 1-1. 5 mm in size, very tiny. Help frown.gif

greetings from Belarus!)
a month ago, we moved with our family to a private house (1-storey block, wooden beams, crate, rafters, etc.). and almost every day we started to meet black beetles - it floats right in the toilet, then runs around the hallway or kitchen, and once even at night in bed on my back ran - my wife jumped.) usually bigish, about 15 mm, but sometimes met and 10 mm. the wife is panicking, the grinder thinks. but we treated all the wood with fire protection during construction. yes, and the grinders are slightly smaller in size and do not look like this from the photo. tell us and reassure us that everything is not so bad (they have read about the grinder and are in a panic)...

P.S. to save user traffic, I deleted the 1st photo (it looks like the 3rd one, only from a different angle, and reduced the resolution of the 2nd one)

oops, it turns out these are different beetles))) thank you! here are the 15 mm "ground beetle" - constantly come across. we just moved from the city to the village, apparently we need to get used to them =) but the main thing is that I am glad that this is not a grinder...

So people, help me decide.

There was a mat on the refrigerator for a long time, and on it was a microwave oven. We rented this apartment and didn't move the microwave at all. And it turned out that under the mat all this time "evolution was taking place", life was being born. We only noticed it yesterday. On the surface of the refrigerator, small (almost microscopic) creatures of white color began to crawl in quite large numbers. The largest ones are a millimeter or two long. The smallest ones generally look like dust motes. In principle, my sister decided that it was dust at first and just started to wipe it with a rag. And in the evening they appeared again, and only then did we notice that they were moving. Not very fast. Just calmly explore the surface of the refrigerator. Small-small, white, slightly fluffy... This is the first time I've seen them. Googled to frenzy - found nothing. I don't know what kind of animal it is. The mat was washed with hot water, and the balcony was removed. The refrigerator itself was washed white. Small creatures were crushed only once, otherwise it is not clear how to deal with them at all. And they appear again and again. And they walk around the refrigerator. Of course, I don't rule out that they can walk on the floor, but you just can't see them there. They're too small. You can't see it with the naked eye. Our refrigerator is dark and metallic, so it's easy to spot them there. I can't even send a picture, because I don't have a good camera, and you can hardly see them. I hope you understand my description.

P.S. There are no plants at home. So all these small creatures that are found in flower pots immediately disappear, although they are most similar in description (but not in photos). Definitely not beetles, not leatherworms (they are dark, but our white ones), not podurs, not scales. More like baby spiders, to be honest.

I hope for your help in the diagnosis. smile.gif

16.08.2016 8:37, Lucky me

In addition to the post:

By the way, when the microwave was removed, the mat itself was not in the best shape. There was some sort of baldness or mildew on it in places. Unclear. We washed it with hot water and put it on the balcony to dry. And under the mat there were already these half-insects.

16.08.2016 9:56, ИНО

Apparently, some kind of Acariform mites. Apparently, they were feeding on the mold on the mat.

Do they harm people? I just checked out the rest of the mats we have on the kitchen counter. It turns out that under them, too, some small pot-bellied thing moves.

16.08.2016 10:59, Lucky me

UPDATE:

under the mats on the kitchen set, similar creatures were running around, only now for some reason brown in color. Whether it's different, or the same, but masquerading as brown headsets.

Most likely, others, maybe even panzer. In general, you obviously have dampness in the room, which in itself is not very good for your health. In addition, ticks, or rather their exuvia, in large numbers can cause allergies.

You're right about humidity. I don't know what's wrong. Sometimes you even go to bed and feel like the blankets are wet. Although it's summer now. The apartment is almost always ventilated. And just at me an allergy in August begins. But it was there before. Apparently, these creatures make things worse. In general, all the mats were removed, all wiped, washed. I don't know if this will help. Can you tell me how to get rid of them?)

16.08.2016 13:11, ИНО

Dryness + absence of mold and food debris. Seasonal allergies are not associated with ticks, this is polinosis.

Good afternoon! dear forum participants, can you tell me, please, whether Surinamese flour eaters can harm domestic animals? for example, Chinchilla. Can they crawl into the ear of her or a person, for example, during sleep? I'm very concerned about this. I will be very grateful for the answer! Thank you so much in advance!

Help me identify who it is? Kirov, Kirov region. Found in an apartment, brick house, 6th floor. On grid windows. It was taped to the bottom of the kitchen table. I found one on the kitchen floor last year and threw it down the toilet. And then again... I didn't see any butterflies in the apartment. Where do they come from?? Length 2 cm.
