Help me identify who it is? Kirov, Kirov region. Found in an apartment, brick house, 6th floor. On grid windows. It was taped to the bottom of the kitchen table. I found one on the kitchen floor last year and threw it down the toilet. And then again... I didn't see any butterflies in the apartment. Where do they come from?? Length 2 cm.

Belyanka pupa. Most likely, the caterpillar crawled out of the purchased cabbage and pupated. It happens. smile.gif

Good afternoon! I repeat, I am very much waiting for an answer! dear forum participants, can you tell me, please, whether Surinamese flour eaters can harm domestic animals? for example, Chinchilla. Can they crawl into the ear of her or a person, for example, during sleep? I'm very concerned about this. I will be very grateful for the answer! Thank you so much in advance!

Staphylin beetle. Biting in self-defense can be painful, but it was accidentally hit in the ear.

Hello, we moved into the apartment a couple of days ago, before that there were tenants. Today I found a couple of these insects on the windowsills: one in the room, the other in the kitchen. You won't be able to take a better picture - the camera just doesn't want to focus closer. The individual reacted to the flash. Suspicions fall on the fact that it is a hay eater. Help me determine who exactly this person is, what should be my next actions? Insects are terribly afraid, I don't know how to get used to such a neighborhood.

Why withdraw it? In general, they eat something somewhere in your house, possibly mold. Find and eliminate this food source. If you can't, score.

Is there a chance that these guys will want to switch to my books? Mold is most likely behind this windowsill, it will be difficult to eliminate. The main protection measure is to lower the humidity and destroy the food, right ?

Hello.
Help me determine whose larva it is?
Moscow, 8th floor, brick house.
My options:
honey? clothes? cereals? vegetables? from the site? Someone died and I don't know?
The situation is as follows:
I found one in the kitchen, I thought it was summer, I crawled in from the street, the wind blew off a leaf, we have giant trees.
but today the second one was found by a cat on the floor in the hallway.
Sometimes a fruit moth happens in our apartment. I remember seeing maggots crawling on the ceiling once. I went through and cleaned OUT EVERYTHING I could in the kitchen...
so... I'm going to go look at the ceiling in the kitchen again...
No, it's clear!
That year they crawled on the wall and on the ceiling, the horror I endured in full, with what I brought to the apartment, I did not understand, but after I threw everything out of the kitchen, they disappeared, both larvae and ready-made moths.
Now there are only two goslings.
Think what to clean up?
Cabinets with clothes, honey deposits, again a shelf with cereals or something else?
On the water: almost transparent, when pressed, something brown flows out, black intestines inside, the muzzle can be determined by the brown color. Here are such beauties.
Last time fruit moth (or whatever else it's called?) I killed him a couple of weeks ago.
And, by the way, if such a topic has already gone, there are two questions, maybe you know smile.gif
1. Some very small midges began to fly here from the street, black with transparent wings, a millimeter in length, thin, BUT if you smayayaknut it... it's worse than a bedbug!!!! IT STINKS SO MUCH=)))) I laughed for a long time that someone so small could smell so bad. And who is it? smile.gif))))
2. Constantly in the shelf with cereals live small black beetles. They eat flour, rice, well, this plan. No matter how many times I wash them, they still appear. Tired frown.gifof Not knowing who they are and how to get rid of them completely?
All =)
I will be very grateful to everyone for their advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found a picture!!!!!!!!!! HERE, here is such a larva!!! Straight 1 in 1!!!
http://www.lifeandbees.ru/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/mol.jpg
But it says it's some kind of WAX MOTH. Where does it come from in a modern apartment?
And in the kitchen, I still went through everything... it's clean.
I checked the honey. Hermetically sealed.
Maybe it's crawling from the neighbors?
What to do?

06.09.2016 18:19, ИНО

I can find hundreds of such" 1 in 1 " types if you want. You certainly can't have a wax fire in the kitchen. And the neighbors, too, unless they are beekeepers. And here are other fires, the same barn-please. But her caterpillar is several times smaller than the wax one. But you seem to have decided to keep the size of your caterpillars a secret.

06.09.2016 19:20, Uchakina

I write the answer at the top of the message - in general, I just killed a fruit moth. I have no idea where their house is in our apartment, since I have already dismantled the entire kitchen. From neighbors along the way.............
Oh, I'm sorry. I threw it away, tried to find it in the trash for a long time, but couldn't frown.gif
Somewhere on one and a half cm they are maximum. Transparent almost, inside black is visible as the inside of the type. Legs straight here are the legs they have no, maybe on the belly that was, but I did not think to consider. I didn't expect, to be honest, that there is such a variety of them.
I'm now wondering if anyone eats clothes in the closet... but, on the other hand, if this is a moth larva that feeds on wool, then where does it come from in the kitchen?
Neighbors are not beekeepers smile.gif))) Although who knows what they are there with the dacha could bring at the end of the summer smile.gifOther neighbors alcoholics terrible.
I remember we still had larvae in the nuts-hazelnuts of Anapa. But they've been gone for several years.
Really go through all the cabinets @_@
PS: the photos are terrible!! The goose will be prettier and lighter, as if transparent.

And why are they all in your pictures collapsed, crawling in agony, leaving a trail of leaking hemolymph? Your pictures are clearly in the style of Cubism. But, it seems, really caterpillars of Plodia interpunctella, the size is suitable (only it is not a moth, but a firefly). And they quite have legs, and in all possible assortment: both thoracic (3 pairs), and false abdominal (5 pairs). But on such photos, of course, you can't see them. You can rest assured about the clothes, they are eaten by real moths, not fireflies.

06.09.2016 22:48, Uchakina

I took it carefully, and suddenly something brown squeezed out of it. I didn't even press it. Well, then you better not know, because I was afraid of the goose, I had to put it on a needle, and then let it go to take a picture frown.gifI'm ashamed of my panic fear of insects, but I have this since childhood, so even though they don't care about my apologies, I kill everything that I find at home (well, except for stray ones beetles of some kind, I throw them out on the street), with a huge sense of guilt and apologies.
PS: it's the same goose.
PPS: apparently when I was little, small red ants lived at home... and so I took my school notebook, and they managed to lay eggs there and all this fell on me. Indescribable sensations. And then, at a friend's dacha, a black creeper with claws on its butt lurked in my sneaker and pinched it very painfully. And at the dacha, a seemingly beautiful thing with mottled wings sat on my hand, and its discharge made my whole hand sting, itch, and go rash. In short, I had enough for a long time, and now I'm afraid. I had to kill the caterpillar.

Help identify insects.
Found on the floor of the apartment. Sizes up to 1-2mm, generally very small. They crawl out when it gets dark, crawling mainly near the walls on the floor. There are units on the walls. They jump a couple of cm. The number is large. The region is the Ryazan region.

In general, who is it and how to get rid of them?

Hay eater. But if there's anyone else jumping (and not flying), it's not them, probably legtails.

Hello! Help identify the insect.

Habitat: bathroom (run around washing machine, sink, tub)
There is a hood, the assumption that they could run away from the neighbors.
I looked around the apartment and couldn't find it anywhere else.

Condition: the bathroom is damp, the apartment is on the first floor, there is an extractor hood directly above the washing machine.

Appearance: very small, light brown or beige (see photo).

Harm: so far only musolyat eyes, not bitten (so far only in the bathroom).

Appearance: they appeared suddenly, yes, just suddenly, a day ago, sitting on the sink, running around in the washing machine, getting into baskets, getting into cosmetics for their wife.
There are great fears that these are bedbugs from neighbors, maybe they got into the ventilation system...Although I look at the photos in net, they don't look quite as good as I think.

In a couple of days, there were a lot of them, especially in baskets and on the washing machine

As far as I can tell from such a terrible photo, hay eaters. It would be better if you made a crop with that one copy, which is at least somehow visible. A view of the bathroom interior can't help you.

We found an insect in the house(there are a lot of them on the windowsills). The apartment is in a new building, only everyone started to move in.
The size of the insect is about 1 millimeter, even less, it was possible to see only under a microscope.
How to deal with them? And what is it?
I upload a photo.

ticks are not easy to deal with. somehow they tried to bring them out - what only they were not smeared with, and concentrated acids and all sorts of chemistry.. lie down, lie down, and crawl again.

write then please what means brought out this muck..

Beetle catchers:
This is a bed bug, but not a bed bug, but one that lives "in the wild" and is completely safe for humans, animals and food. Apparently, he accidentally got into your house for the winter.

In the first photo, not an insect, but a gamaz mite, in the second-a hay eater - they were discussed in detail here: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=572843

On the third, a harmless bug that got into the house by accident (apparently, it got into the winter quarters). If you are interested in "what is his name"wink.gif, post it in the appropriate topic: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=155393 , it will be more accurately determined for you.

Gamase mites. On the balcony, most likely from birds ' nests (swallows, pigeons, etc.) .
