This is a false scorpion. In my opinion, it is not dangerous. And so, you can find something about them in the search engine and read about them.

thank you so much.... read it, it's harmless...

18.06.2007 14:44, omar

And even useful...

18.06.2007 16:25, RippeR

And for me, so cool critters.. smile.gif If not destroyed , you can keep them as pets smile.gif

Help me identify these animals.
They showed up at my wife's office. Do not jump, crawl often in circles, then freeze. Very small (about 0.1-0.2 mm), translucent. They bite. The bite site itches and then turns red (like from mosquitoes). They are found on clothing and upholstered furniture.
A few months ago, rats were poisoned in their office.
We only managed to photograph the crushed individual through a not very good microscope, so do not swear at the quality.

What's it? How to deal with them? How not to bring it home?

These are ticks of some kind. I won't say any more, as this is the first time I've seen such people.

21.06.2007 21:26, omar

A rat tick. I don't remember Latin, find it via yandex.

Well, here are the beetles. Typical ham skin eaters.
And here's the answer... We live on the top floor. The battery pipe is sewn with a drywall box. There's a gap at the top where larvae from the attic can get in. They penetrate, fall or slide down the pipe, crawl out on the skirting board, because the builders did not provide tight contact from below - there is a gap.

We found out by removing all the laminate flooring and skirting boards. Under the laminate - clean . And the baseboards served as tunnels for distribution ... Apparently there was no food, so the larvae wandered back and forth in search of it...

The gap was patched up. We have been seeing a decrease in guests for several days . Appear on 1-2 pcs... Apparently, a residual phenomenon.

I don't want to go to the roof. You can guess what's going on there...

For amateurs, I can tell you the address of the roof to explore smile.gif

Unfortunately, there is no photo available. I'll try to explain:
Small beetles of 5-6 mm, as a selection all the same, brown with a black pattern, like a triangle on the back. The head is small. Flat on top. They fly. It seems that when you turn them over, they just lie there and wait - they don't even do anything. I think some kind of woody stuff? Under the window there is a Polish tree - now they are all over the apartment. In the heat-they die, climb into the mudflats. They bite - it just itches and redness. I think it's perfectly safe, but there are a lot of them coming right at you. What is the name and how to deal with them?

PS Three beetles were affected on the monitor screen while writing this message!

Thanks!

I have no idea

Hello everybody! Maybe someone knows what kind of creature the image is no longer on the site: ___. JPGit is, and can it turn out to be in the feces of a child? The larva is about 2 mm in size and moves quickly in a straight line. Perhaps this is a fly larva, if anyone has info, give an answer pliz!!!

This is the larva of a skin-eating beetle. In Calais, there is no place for it to come from. Unless it fell off.

25.06.2007 14:11, Mylabris

What are the trees around you? We sometimes have a mass of Pyrrhalta luteola on the elms reproduces.

25.06.2007 16:37, Justin

Yes, there's an elm tree nearby. But I looked at these Pyrrhalta luteola-it's not them. These are yellow and unpleasant, but ours are more cute. Here...
The quality, of course, leaves much to be desired...

These are bedbugs.

25.06.2007 16:54, Justin

Is the name accurate? Although what kind of bedbugs are they? It's hard to believe! There are more options!

25.06.2007 17:00, omar

These are not domestic bedbugs, but wild, natural ones. Exact name based on this photo? Do you think it's possible?

I have a rough idea of the genus of these beetles, but unfortunately I don't remember the name of this genus, or this group.. As in bedbugs weakly secu..

25.06.2007 19:27, Zhuk

In my opinion, this is something from the Rhopalidae.

25.06.2007 20:47, Justin

I tend to Sticktopleurus punctatonervosus

Although whoever it is: are they harmless to humans?
Thanks?

Yes, this is definitely a bedbug. Yours are completely harmless.

28.06.2007 11:59, Itarrati

Thanks for the answer! Can I find out more and where? I do not know where it came from in the house, whether it can cause harm and how to deal with it! I don't know if it's a coincidence, but the child has already been found in the potty three times. Maybe it fell, but how to find their nest, how to neutralize it. Thank you in advance!

28.06.2007 14:35, A.Andrey

A small black bug about 5 millimeters long with a long ass. Slowly crawl around the house, after their bites there is a strong redness and the place swells. If it is crushed on the skin, it also irritates and itches very much. What is this creature and how to get rid of it? Thank you in advance!

28.06.2007 14:41, Dmitrii Musolin

even by the colorful description of the ass, it's hard to tell who it's about without a photo... Photo to the studio. Or look for where it crawls from and describe it....

28.06.2007 20:44, igi99ksu

Please save me!
in the bathroom periodically notice strange creatures small? no legs, no head, no whiskers - but long (0.5-1cm) and quickly crawl
Who is it and why exactly in the bathroom and most importantly what to do with them?

28.06.2007 20:56, igi99ksu

they are grey yet.............

28.06.2007 22:50, Bad Den

Lepisma sacharina - scalefish.
Harmless in general, the creature feeds on organic residues. I think I can make a bathroom repair smile.gif

28.06.2007 23:00, igi99ksu

Well, I saw in the forum a photo of these scales, it doesn't look like my animals
have no whiskers and paws, but needles are generally not visible..... they seem to be so uniform-cast lol.gif

So take a picture or draw that on the coffee grounds to guess.

Unfortunately, I couldn't shoot them on my mobile phone, so I'll try to find a photo option on the weekend. In the meantime, a more detailed description: the front of the beetle is very similar to an ant, and behind the elongated ass is slightly swollen in relation to the body and pointed at the end. The color is either black or dark-dark brown. They crawl everywhere, on the table, on the curtains, on the sofa.
By the way, I live in a private house in Krasnodar.

29.06.2007 8:11, omar

Something like the Germans, obviously.

An invasion of German women? Hmm, doubtful. We'll wait for the photos...

29.06.2007 11:42, omar

And why not? In Krasnodar after all. What else does an ant with a long ass look like?

29.06.2007 12:34, Tigran Oganesov

Come on, why would they climb into the house, and even en masse smile.gifIn General, what is it that I have no options, I still need to look at the pictures.

Size 5 mm

29.06.2007 14:50, omar

Yes, there are like such small wingless oskis, which strongly bite (sting).
