Not an insect, but an arachnid: A false scorpion is the very thing that is.
They are common in our apartments and absolutely not dangerous.

Thanks!

Today I went under the sink, there is a large bag of cat food, pulled out this bag, and it is all covered in dust, then looked closely, and it is completely covered with very small insects and they crawl and jump. While I was panicking and trying to figure out what to do with the bag, they moved out of the bag and now they're crawling almost everywhere in the kitchen! At home, as if for evil, there is no water (the pipe broke somewhere) and I have not even dared to climb into the closet under the sink, there is probably a perfect horror going on! The insects themselves are less than a mm in size, transparent, round, I looked very closely, like some kind of antennae. Individually, they are almost invisible, only when they start to move you realize that this is not a speck of dust. And maybe due to the fact that they are transparent-white, they can only be seen on dark surfaces, so it seems to me that they only sit on dark ones.

Please help me recognize what it is, I'm just terrified, constantly wipe (while wet wipes - there is no water) the surface of the kitchen set, and they again appear from somewhere!

Most likely it is nogohvostki (color rather gray than opaque?). They are terribly fond of wet places, so wet wipes help them a lot.
Turn around, dry everything (with a hair dryer, for example) and they will go away. They need dampness for life!

They are more white than gray, and as far as I understand the leg-tails are elongated, and these are so round. There are much fewer of them today, but they still meet in places. I would still like to know who they are, where they came from and whether they are dangerous

05.11.2010 17:51, okoem

Nogohvostki round, too, are.
To answer who it is, it would be good to see the photo...

That's all, I think I've already figured out exactly what it is nogokhvostki. I will now dry the kitchen)) It is useless to take photos, they are very small, and the photo will just turn out to be small white dots.

Thank you very much to those who helped determine!!!!!!

Worms are thin, white, similar to a thread, 2-3 cm long, start in a stack of winter wool sweaters in the closet. The same ones were found on felt insoles for shoes. Dear experts, can you tell me what it is? How to deal with them and where could they come from? Is this some kind of leatherworm?

08.11.2010 14:40, Alexandr Zhakov

Judging by the description, in addition to the size, it corresponds to the caterpillar Tineola bisselliella - a real dress moth. Only it is much smaller 5-7 mm

08.11.2010 15:20, Sveta.N

Yes, these specimens are 2-3 times longer and very fast. More like a wireworm who eats potatoes, only much thinner.

and what's in the extended one? I don't understand how to upload a photo anyway!

First, register (only registered users can attach photos). Second, select "advanced form". Then click "browse", select your file (photo), click "open", and "attach this file". Insert the attached file in the message and click "reply". It's simple smile.gif.

This spider comes across in Almaty. Once, in August - on the street, and twice - in the apartment. Then, at the end of the summer, one man claimed that it was a female Karakurt "black widow". To be honest, I doubt that this is so, since these spiders - karakurts-prefer environmentally friendly places and the atmosphere of a city like Almaty, apparently, will not be very happy. I hope someone from the real experts will explain.

The size of this spider is approximately 15 mm on the legs, the body is the size of a match head each part. What kind of spider? What does it eat, how does it behave, how does it live next to a person? Thank you in advance for your advice.

In general, while the essence of the matter is, we managed to find out that this is a juvenile Steatoda (Lithyphantes) paykulliana Walk.

Steatode
Class Arachnids or Arachnids — Arachnida
Order Spiders-Aranei
Family of Trapdoor spiders-Theridiidae

Belonging to the same family as the Karakurt spider, Steatoda paykulliana also has neurotropic venom. These are spiders with a black spherical belly, on the ventral surface of which there are white stripes radiating from the center. The length of the cephalothorax is not less than 3.5 mm. The chelicerae are vertical and not very large. It is distributed in the Black Sea region, Crimea, the Caucasus, Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
Chemical composition and mechanism of action of the poison. The poison is highly toxic to insects and less toxic to mammals.

So that guy was partly right! But the fact that this spider is not dangerous for a person is good. I was worried about the kids.

This is a Crab spider-Philodromus sp. Unusual for me a little, but where is it taken?

During cleaning, we noticed the presence of striped tubes in the garbage from the floor. Inside the hollow type of discarded skin. And they also noticed a gray color, well, only a few colors, something like a small centipede, with antennae and a tail, briskly chipping into a crack in the parquet floor. And on the sides of the legs, a lot of legs smile.gif) These insects were also found in the crevices and drawers of the sofa, although not much 2-3 pcs. It wasn't there before. Can you tell me what it is and how it is something iznechtozhit? By and large, they do not really bother me, I put my finger on them. But a little daughter can eat it. And they make my wife feel bad at all. Gentle nature smile.gif
