Hello!Help please.At home, strange insects appear in the apartment on the 9th floor, regardless of the time of year.The size is approximately 3-4 mm, flat, paws on the sides "splayed", black.I can't say for sure if they fly or not,but they DEFINITELY jump.This is what they are terrible for ,they can jump on their heads, they can jump on their faces.I don't think they bite.When trying to crush, do not choke,do not swat.You can only destroy it if, for example, you rub it on the floor with a slipper.Even if a cat catches it, it can hardly eat it.

These are leatherworms. They are not dangerous for humans. You can only remove it by removing dust more often than better, from all the cracks and baseboards (with a vacuum cleaner). Their larvae mainly feed on dust.
