In a Moscow apartment, I crawled over my head (!) on the back of a white bed, myself so dark and shaggy and sitting, in St. with this I was killed from horror (I'm sorry).

Fotat or catch was not such a thought even. The speed of movement is unknown.
After detection, I sat motionless for 1.5 minutes (until I came out of my stupor).

Thin as a small spider, legs 2 front bent like a scorpion strongly long forward, and at the ends of the brush shaggy like 5 fingers, ultra-thin. He is very flattened down and all hugging the surface, according to intuition, the campaign is something fast-running like centipedes.

The shape of the entire insect is that of a scorpion species. The first thing that came to mind from what I saw was a small scorpion.

Size 1,2-1,5 (with paws) cm (!). Not a 100% false scorpion. After the murder, he turned into a small lump, like any spider at home. Itself is very fragile and very thin construction and body and legs. No fat belly, small.
I reread a bunch of just 3 days on the Internet - I didn't find this.

There are no photos, I understand it's difficult to determine, but suddenly...someone will find out!

People, help. At the very peak of the heat, insects appeared. Small brownish-black beetles. They definitely don't fly, but they don't jump, either. At first there were few, and now they are crawling everywhere. There is a small child in the house. I can't even imagine how to spray dichlafos. Beetles are hard, hard-shelled, body elongated, round

Hello, maybe I'm not writing there, but still, suddenly someone will help.... We have gamaz mites at home. They bite...I know that carriers of all sorts of nasty things...scary, painful...what to do with them? where to apply, please help. We are on the 1st floor, there are rats in the basement, right in the walls and under the floor they are raging-it's clear where the insects come from. They called and ordered deratization. The workers arrived and scattered them in the yard and attic(they said so, although I doubt it...they did it all very quietly-no one from home noticed the arrival of the service at all). The rats were still there, of course. They refuse to open the floor and seal up the basement-they say there is a lot of fuss. The house was rebuilt after the fire, stolen, of course...the walls are empty, the floor is wooden, the cracks are huge. From the old house, the basement niches are still under the floor-littered with construction debris, where I assume the rats live...Here we are separated from the rats by 10 centimeters from the floor and 3 from the wall...Treated the apartment with an insect repellent, gamazovs disappeared for a year, now they are there again...they don't care if it's hot or cold...There is no point in removing ticks-they will get rid of the rats again, no one wants to remove the rats... The city is small, there are no such private offices...
1-Tell me which services are doing this HONESTLY or where to contact to do it honestly.
2-We have a dog at home, for sure, it is bitten, than to reduce them from the animal, so that it is not harmful.

Also, I forgot to ask. There are a huge number of haymakers at home. I know that they don't bite, and they're not dangerous, but they're terribly annoying and I'm sooo afraid of them...How to deal with them?

I think that these are khrushchyaks, usually found in dry products (pasta, cereals and flour). But that's just a guess shuffle.gif... Search Wikipedia and you'll find a picture. Size: 3-4 mm (approximately). Wikipedia describes everything in detail wink.gif

I'm sorry, but from your description, it's almost impossible to tell who you have started up. Try taking a photo, or alternatively scan it with a higher resolution. In the latter case, put something next to the bug (for example, coins) so as not to smear it on the glass.

Hello. Today, under a log, I found very small, wilimo-only hatched caterpillars. If it is possible to determine, please tell me what kind of view.

Under the log there may not be caterpillars, but beetle larvae

25.08.2010 14:46, Anders

I also doubt that these are caterpillars, but they are not very similar to beetle larvae. I was also surprised that the caterpillars are digging in the wood dust.. Although they look like caterpillars, and crawl like caterpillars.

25.08.2010 16:49, Fornax13

Why not? Many tineids normally develop in rotten wood.

Please help me identify these insects! confused.gif The house is panel, 10-storey. The apartment is dry and regularly wet cleaned, wooden floor. No plants, no carpets, no animals, no fish, etc. Larvae live under baseboards, cabinets, generally where there is a little dust and dark. Beetles always have dusty backs, crawl out to the light, run very actively and even fly. I remove them from curtains, floors under windowsills, and sometimes from the horizontal cups of lamps. Larvae also move very quickly, and they do not crawl like worms, but rather snake-like in a 2D plane. Help with the methods of fighting against these creatures. Please forgive me for my ruthlessness towards these creatures!

Skin-eating beetles. In principle, they are common in any apartment. They always find something to eat.
In places where larvae accumulate(this is the epicenter of their food supply), spray something. As a rule, it is impossible to get rid of it forever-after some time,

These are indeed leatherworms (adult beetles and larvae), namely the Smirnov's leatherworm (Attagenus smirnovi Zhantiev, 1973). In the Central part of Russia - a typical synanthrope, lives in a human dwelling (heated rooms). It feeds on dust, small accumulations of which are always enough behind baseboards (for example).

I wasn't home for a couple of weeks, while my mother was doing repairs at home. Cat bowls are placed on the ceramic tiles left over from the kitchen.
Yesterday I found a colony of some insects under this tile and under a bowl of water. Insects are light beige, almost transparent, 1-4 mm long, jumping. The cat doesn't itch, so it doesn't get bitten (i.e. fleas are unlikely). I didn't notice any bites on myself either, just nervously scratching myself for the second day...I've cleaned them all up, moved the bowls to a different place in the kitchen, but they're showing up again...I don't even know what to do =((

31.08.2010 10:31, Guest

I took a picture of them, but I don't know how to post a photo...

This is some kind of collembola from Entomobryomorpha. They are usually soil-based. Absolutely harmless. Perhaps brought from somewhere, for example, with mushrooms.

Thank you very much!
And how to clean the floor so that they don't come again? It was like a whole nest, and I don't want them to do it anywhere else...

31.08.2010 11:39, Fornax13

Do you need it? I don't think they'll survive in the apartment anyway. Especially if the humidity is low.

31.08.2010 11:43, vasiliy-feoktistov

Yes, they will die out themselves. Don't bother smile.gif

31.08.2010 13:07, Мария-777

They not only survived, but also multiplied to a very large number...
Humidity is high (barely managed to cope with the fungus).
I understand that if I remove the bowl of water, they will no longer bother me there, but the cat will be left without water and they can move to another place =)

In any case, thank you all for participating, at least I stopped being afraid of them and at the same time stopped nervously scratching =))))))

Please tell me who this spider is.At first he crawled into the house, didn't touch anyone, then moved out the door to the street. smile.gif

In the apartment there were such midges, they either fly, or jump, they look like grasshoppers. They are small, about 5 mm, in the evening, when we turn on the table lamp, a whole bunch climbs out to warm up, I can't say for sure, but they seem to bite... or it's the half-eaten mosquitoes that bite... What is it and how to deal with them?

thank you! as I understand it, these are cicadas, I would like to know where they came from on the 9th floor, and how to deal with them)

05.09.2010 23:14, Papaver

And what to fight for? If it gets colder, they'll disappear by themselves. Don't worry - they're harmless creatures.

06.09.2010 10:08, Juliya

They just jump everywhere, land on your face and hands, it's quite unpleasant. You sit at the computer, read the forum, and you bang, in the eye ka-ak will give eek.gif

06.09.2010 10:51, taler

Well, taakie in the eye will not give smile.gifI had to meet cicadas up to 15 cm in length and wildly screaming. This is really an inconvenience.
By the way,in their post,an interesting theory was given out that insects come out to the light to warm up/arrive.And we are breaking our heads on the device of a faceted eye.And everything is simple-frozen smile.gif

Hello! Please help me identify the "tenant".
A small black insect up to 2-3 mm long, approximately, the body is like a spindle, the antennae are long, look forward and stand apart a little, crawl, but when I press them with my finger, they jump to the side. There are a lot of them, first I noticed in one room near the carpet, and now in other rooms near the balconies.... We live on the first floor, almost everywhere there are balconies... the floor has ceramic tiles with cracks in some places... maybe the wind blows from there?
Thank you in advance.

Py. Sy. I took a photo, but I can't make it large and clear...

Most likely leg-tails (Collembola).

10.09.2010 0:22, MarDasha

Thank you, more like it's from the ground with flowers? And how to deal with them? If I take the flowers out of the house, how do I collect lime?

10.09.2010 16:05, scarit

Yes, most likely from earth.

I live on the first floor of the Khrushchev house.Rental housing. The second year I suffer. Last year there were fleas-brought out. Now vylaziet not clear that. 5-7 cm long, black and brown in color, lots of legs, whiskers on the backside and on the muzzle, runs fast. Dichlorvos and spray from dom. insects don't help. weep.gif
People, please tell me what kind of creature it is, and how to deal with it. wall.gif
I can't sleep because of them, it's very scary!!!

18.09.2010 13:57, vasiliy-feoktistov

Where do you live (geography)? If in the south-then scolopendra, if to the north-then drupe (without a photo it is difficult).
