Indeed, there was some problem with the link. I edited my post.

It doesn't look like a butterfly(

In those photos, you can barely make out, but it looks more like something from Pisivok (I couldn't resist, sorry, but as they are called in the Czech Republic, I really like tongue.gifit ), http://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pisivky#Druhy
in Russian, Hay eaters, and in this particular case, perhaps a book louse or other similar species,
look here (top four rows) :

http://www.google.com/images?client=safari...iw=1330&bih=952

BUT they don't have wings, however (our home species?), but some transatlantic ones do:

This has already been discussed here

In short, by lowering the humidity in the room. Or even if the temperature is about zero, they also die (except for laid eggs), but it is difficult to create this in an apartment.
I do not advise chemicals, they also affect humans, but there is no special harm from these microbes.

Please give me some advice.

What is it and what to do with it! confused.gif

We have a very small garden and there appeared small (2-3ml)brown beetles. After a couple of days, they covered all the garden chairs...
The child is not allowed to play, laundry can not be dried and they are already in the house.
So far, not very much, but in a variety of places.

They don't seem to bite, they are quite slow, and you can crush them with a light tap of your finger. When crushed, the smell is not the most pleasant, but it can not be said that it stinks. More likely something spruce or vegetable.

I searched the Internet for a long time, but found nothing. Here are the photos.

Bedbug larvae, not bed beetles, will not bite.

Is it scary? And how can you deal with them?

Is it scary? And how can you deal with them?

It's not terrible, there is no harm from them for people.

Thank you so much for calming me down! I was worried about the child...

Can you get rid of them? Why don't you go out into the garden now?

27.07.2010 18:41, Alexandr Zhakov

I think household chemicals from insects will help.
Did not encounter the problem of bedbug larvae in the garden smile.gif

30.07.2010 22:32, felik

In general, the cat played enough with him then safely ate it.
Can you tell me who it is? At least not in the red book?
Most likely it was brought from the dacha in a bag. smile.gif

Thanks for the reply.

Hello, dear participants!
I've already looked through a bunch of different atlases, I can't determine WHAT IT IS...
picture: _DSC4099.jpg
picture: _DSC4111.jpg

Please forgive me for the quality, I managed to shoot it only at night.
Rigid wings (as I understand it, they are wingless), under which, it seems to me, there are transparent wings, about 4 mm long, they move very mobile, black in color. Many such individuals have already been killed, and I don't even know where they came from or how to deal with them. The house is reinforced concrete. Seen in a living room where there is no food available.

Thank you all in advance!

I will assume that Anthicus ater.

The main thing is to turn off the lights and close the windows. Although with the windows I wouldn't risk it in this weather wink.gif

Yes, it looks similar. I didn't see them that close, though, and I don't have a macro lens.
Now you can sleep in peace, and then I already thought you never know, in the furniture where something started up... although there is only one chipboard almost... The second night on the Internet looking for them, and, apparently, there was nothing to sit at night))
I wonder how they fly into the light on the 4th floor, and even overcome the grid on the window (although there is a cell diameter of a couple of millimeters)... confused.gif

Hello. Some midges started bothering me.They crawl on walls and ceilings at night. They were also seen during the day. Small very 2-3 mm. They smell a little when you push them.
With them in the neighborhood was found 1 bug (like).
Help me recognize it.

These are mayflies (order Ephemeroptera). They are completely harmless and don't last very long.

They're beetles, but what are they?

It's not exactly fleas, just maybe in the photo it seems so, it's just some small beetles.

Soulmate!
Evgenich answered the guest's question, not your post smile.gif. And in your photos, really, beetles. It is hard to see, but I will assume that these are black-bodied animals from the group of small khrushchaks (this is also indicated by the smell when crushed). Although, we can say with confidence only if there is a better (clear) photo.

09.08.2010 16:33, Soulmate

Oh, thank you very much. The search has moved forward. Most of all, he looks like a bulavous khrushchak. Really, why was he running around the apartment? It is written that he lives in flour, cereals. I looked at it yesterday and there's no one there. But there are on the walls, in the bath, in the sink. Strange bug.

This can sometimes happen if your home (not your apartment) live cats and dogs. This is enough for them (fleas) to follow you from the landing when they enter their apartment. smile.gif

Outwardly similar to the representative of the family. Ichneumonidae (True horsemen) - Ophion luteus.
I can't vouch for the accuracy of the determination based on this photo. Maybe someone will tell you the correct answer... smile.gif

Thanks! Most likely, this is it. Do you know if it is dangerous for humans? I read it, like they write that there is no.

11.08.2010 14:08, Soulmate

I have another stupid question=) Bedbugs, as far as I know, hide in the light. Then why do I watch them during the day? Or are they not bedbugs? But they also stink with blood.

11.08.2010 14:50, london

There are innumerable types of bedbugs, and each species has its own characteristics and habits, anything can happen. Most likely in the case of ordinary residents of the day.
Or what I don't understand and they end up oborzeli smile.gif

11.08.2010 18:23, Лошарик

I apologize if this question has already been raised! I can't identify the insects, but I can't take any photos yet for technical reasons. I haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere, although they have been living with me for 20 years. Insects are small (up to 5 mm), although from time to time a larger individual (possibly a female) crawls out - about 10 mm. They live either in the ground or in the cracks of the house (adobe, ground floor). In the evening (much less often - in the afternoon) they crawl on the walls. They only appear in summer. In appearance, they look most like a piece of soot - gray, matte, with growths on the legs. The abdomen is oval, flattened from top to bottom, the chest rises above the level of the abdomen, but not in a hump. The head narrows anteriorly, small, and I can't see the mouthpiece. Two black eyes, two short whiskers, pointed forward. Wings and elytra are not observed at all. The legs are all walking, but the hind legs are longer than the front ones. They move very slowly, as if in jerks, slightly lifting the body before taking a step. They walk like toads, actually. Disturbed people run unexpectedly briskly. I'm terribly curious, what could it be?
