To be precise, this type of legume seeds affects not only beans, but can also develop in forage beans, lentils, maize, vigna, mai beans, chickpeas, acacia, lupine, and some types of chyna.
And what is beauty, it is exactly smile.gif

First in the bathroom, now in the kitchen there were a lot of very small insects, I don't know the name. About 3 mm in size, thin, translucent, like a piece of very thin wire, they crawl quickly. Please help me get rid of them, they crawl into the bread box, into food, etc.!!!!

Uncle Maxim
In your photo is a scootiger or a common flycatcher. Recently found in most cities of the Middle Volga region! It is clearly imported from the Caucasus or Central Asia, where it is quite common in rural homes, basements, etc. People are not afraid of it indoors , as it catches many small insects (especially at night when it crawls out of hiding to hunt). But for Omsk, the discovery of this kind of alien is clearly new! Call the Department of Zoology of your pedagogical University!!! They will be grateful to you!

What kind of spider? This isn't the first one. I live in the Moscow region in a 5-storey Khrushchevka on the 4th floor. Reinforced concrete floors, panel house, old, built in 1964.
Usually spiders and other "living things" are found in abundance on our balcony - there are already two wasp houses, and there are plenty of webs, and we just don't sweep them out. And in the bathroom that they slide? That's how you turn on the light in the dark and jump in surprise.
Are they not dangerous? What do they eat?

Many thanks for your help, I will try to insert a clearer picture (taken in the cellar on the phone)., TK on the Internet pictures are somewhat different...
There were several insects, up to 4 cm in size (apparently with whiskers). The picture was sent by my brother, and it was he who asked me to advise him, and I, unfortunately, see this for the first time. If possible, I will ask my brother to get an insect and report it to the ped. Institute.

This is Tegenaria domestica-a house spider, a common inhabitant of apartments. Calm down - it's not dangerous for humans. It feeds on all kinds of small animals found in our homes.

Please help me determine what kind of insects they are. We got divorced in the kitchen. We couldn't find any localization locations. We went through all the closets. They crawl on all surfaces, but in other rooms they have not yet been found... There is a feeling that they are blood-sucking. Found on their skin with reddish bellies. On the photo in an enlarged form and in comparison with a match (all that we managed to squeeze out of our digital soap dish).

This is clearly not an insect, but some kind of tick. What floor do you live on? If the latter, it is possible that they get to your apartment from the attic, where pigeons nest (and find in the kitchen, because they get into the apartment, most likely, through the hood).

Everything is correct, we live on the top floor, and pigeons really live above (on the technical floor), the hood has recently appeared (repairs were made in the winter), which is probably why we haven't encountered such a problem so far. Ticks are really concentrated in the area of the hood and stove, which confirms the theory of "pigeons"!
I apologize for calling the tick an insect, I didn't count my legs... but to the point! Please help me resolve the following issues:
1. How to get rid of ticks?
2. Is it possible to provide any preventive measures in order to prevent the new appearance of ticks (maybe put some product in the hood opening)?
3. Are they dangerous for our health (we were chewed before we found the miniature ticks)?

Thank you in advance!

Flycatcher (Scutigera coleoptrata). Absolutely not a terrible animal for humans. Do not panic, but for killing, in my opinion, any insect repellent chemistry is suitable (if you so want). smile.gif

The fact that these are ticks is unequivocal. And their proximity is extremely unpleasant. But I am not an expert on this vast and diverse group. My advice is the most general: contact Rospotrebnadzor (analogous to the former SES), search the Internet. Here, for example, links that fly out "on a whim":

I wish you success!

The insect is gray, like a bullet. The body is divided into 2, also behind two small round wings, 4 legs, flat, hard to crush, once found on the leg, the second on the side under the T-shirt, did not see what would fly, crawls not fast. What's it? I can't find the definition anywhere

Thank you for your tips. We caught a few of them, put them in a jar and took them to the SES. The answer from the SES is bird lice. All the air ducts were sprayed with dichlorvos. We don't see them anymore. Now we are gathering our strength to restore order on that floor. The SES said that the treatment of those floors should be carried out by residents.

14.05.2010 10:27, Victor Titov

The answer from the SES is bird lice.

The answer from the SES, to put it mildly, is not accurate (not professional). "Bird lice" is a popular name for completely different insects-pukhoedov (see the link http://www.wikiznanie.ru/ru-wz/index.php/Пухоеды ). They look completely different ( http://dic.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enc_biology/265/Отряд And in your photo there is definitely an insect belonging to blood-sucking flies, there are 3 families of them, and they can also parasitize birds (see http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloodsuckers and http://www.zin.ru/conferences/blsuck1/Tezi...tm/Chirov_2.htm ).

In deep pardon! From the stuffiness in the office, I confused Brazilian with RichardRR redface.gif. Of course, I was referring to RichardRR's photo. One consolation lol.gifis that swerig and Bad Den, who thanked me, followed my path like Poles following Susanin!

Hello! Please help me identify the creature. I live in a desert area (Mangyshlak), the local fauna is generally familiar, this is definitely not a local specimen. I thought that I brought it from Israel, was there in the fall, made a terrarium out of a 5-liter plastic jar, the beetle wintered there, buried in the ground, but then there was a second one of the same, so Israel disappears... The beetle that just faded in the photo is beautiful. In general, it's a pity to kill, but I don't know how to keep it, please enlighten me! )))

What do you recommend, let them go to the steppe, let them live for themselves?)))

Colleagues, good afternoon!

Tell me, please, but this bug... just found in an apartment (and, alas, killed), does it bite a person? I just moved to the United States from one apartment to another, because last week I was very badly bitten by bedbugs (the allergic reaction still hasn't passed).

Thank you very much!
