Yes, no, fake it. In old houses, they often meet. They do not bring much harm, they eat all sorts of rubbish (dust of centuries smile.gif) behind the baseboards, in the crevices of the floor...

They don't do much harm

Can I tell you more? smile.gif

thank you very much smile.gif
Now I know who I'm dealing with ))
but how can they be taken out of the apartment?

Yes, actually, if the building is really old, it's not so easy to bring them out. Applying "chemistry" is more expensive (more harmful) for yourself. Humidity in the room should be reduced as much as possible, and cleaning should be done more often. Change the floor (oak parquet! smile.gif ) I won't advise you, although it might help.

not optimistic of course frown.gif
I noticed that their appearance is really associated with increased humidity in the room.
And I don't find much information about them on the Internet.

IrinaNau, I've identified your pretender jump.gif! Mezium affine it! Here are the links:

Hello! Help please..who is it? I can't...I find this stuff all the time on my bedclothes ( brown in the photo, once I saw black and white...). All the time alone...that's what scares me the most...then in one room on the bed I found this muck... and more often in my own. I'll find one, and another in a couple of days....I do not know what to do..And I'm very scared..I'm afraid of all these insects...maybe it's from cats? horror.... they are 3-4 mm long..When I find them, they don't move...as soon as I start collecting them on a piece of paper to crush them and throw them away, they start moving quickly...
here's a photo:

These are the larvae of a skin-eating beetle!
They've been talked about a lot here. Take a look just above.
They are not dangerous for people!

15.03.2010 21:29, LaLolita

But I've never seen the beetle itself!

15.03.2010 21:46, LaLolita

And more..can they be dangerous for animals?

15.03.2010 22:34, Evgenich

They are not dangerous for animals. Read about them above!!!

15.03.2010 22:39, LaLolita

Yes, I have already read everything, now I understand that there were beetles...such maaalenkie solid semicircular....
but I do not understand now the main thing...how to deal with them? and why are they in bed?! ...

15.03.2010 22:59, Evgenich

Use a vacuum cleaner. They love very much wool and leather. Vacuum all hidden corners, under furniture, sofas, beds, baseboards, etc. Conduct an audit of wool product storage areas. If there are collections of insects, stuffed animals, etc. - then they are first of all!

15.03.2010 23:02, LaLolita

everything is fine!=)) thank you very much!= ) I realized that my mattress is lying on a wool blanket...maybe they're there?=)) I once made an audit around the bed, washed everything with bleach, they were gone for a long time...here we are again...I'll do it tomorrow! thank you very much, now at least I know the enemy in person!=)

Such an insect regularly appears at home:(picture below)
user posted image
(I apologize for the quality, I took a picture on my phone as soon as I had time smile.gif)
Moreover, it appears all year round. Sizes from one to 6-7 cm. Aggression does not show, of course) But the suspicion crept in that it was poisonous. I already threw out a couple of such things, after that redness appeared on my hand. And the itch is small.
14, in my opinion, pairs of legs. The speed of movement is very high. Runs all over the house, there is no favorite place.
What are their names, where can they nest, so to speak, and how can they be bred?

16.03.2010 11:16, vasiliy-feoktistov

IMHO Scutigera (flycatcher). Not an insect, but a centipede.

I see, thanks)
I read about them. Useful, of course, but "annoying". Can you tell me how to withdraw it?

Let's see how they behave wink.gif
Isn't this strange for Kiev? Like, in the Crimea and the Caucasus are found...where it's warm. Yes, and appeared after repairs 2 years ago.

For Kiev, it is more than normal. These millipedes, settling in the human dwelling, have now spread far to the north - finds are not uncommon in the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions, and have been further north. And in the Crimea and the Caucasus, they can live in nature.

I just caught another one. All new beetles are quite active. Threw in the same place.

23.03.2010 13:16, matr-oksana

Tell me, please, where in the apartment can the bug-shield come from? Over the winter, about six pieces have already come out of nowhere. Maybe they live in some flower pot? Or are they displayed there? Or maybe somewhere else?

23.03.2010 13:27, Renat

Dear experts, help us identify these beetles. Sincerely, Renat.

Legtails (Collembola)

23.03.2010 15:06, vasiliy-feoktistov

Of course, this is something from otr. Leg-tails (podura or collembola). Determine them under a microscope only (otherwise unrealistic). That's why you should create a survey? Unclear.

24.03.2010 10:20, Варвара

Please help me determine what kind of bug it is. We live in a newly built wooden house. These little things keep coming from somewhere....they don't seem to be like woodworms, but we are very interested in the question of where they came from and whether they will leave on their own or whether they need to be driven away somehow. Because I'm tired of sweeping their corpses several times every day and going to play the role of a big sneaker...

Don't be confused by the odd number of legs. There are 6 of them like usually...The size of the beetles is no larger than the fingernail on the little finger.

Slepnyak? some kind. Don't worry: these beetles (this is a bug, not a beetle) are absolutely harmless to humans, they just wintered in your house, and in the summer you will often meet them on flowers smile.gif. Why should I push them once again?

27.03.2010 18:32, Варвара

Well, you know...when every two minutes such a bug runs past you on the floor/wall/furniture, even if it is small and harmless, it is somehow unpleasant...I would like to get rid of them all the same. Please tell me how to do this.

ps whitewashed the apple tree.I met the exact same one in the tree. Why don't they all move out of the house and into the tree? =)

You chose the right technique: let's take all nature with a SNEAKER, eh wink.gif? If you want to live in nature, and not in the "stone jungle" - please agree! It is necessary to fight really harmful insects umnik.gif
P.S. What have they done to you? Are you the only ones who are so wonderful in nature? Do your nearest and harmless neighbors have no right to live?
Don't worry-it will get warmer and they will try to leave you by themselves smile.gif

28.03.2010 18:08, Варвара

I knew you'd say that... confused.gif
I do not mind nature at all and I understand that living not in an apartment from beetles-spiders can not escape. Especially since we built a house in the place where they used to live before us. But they also run into bed. And you probably wouldn't be happy about that either.
I really hope that they will leave on their own, but I highly doubt it.

Is there anything we can do to speed up their departure? Without using poisons and other nasty things...

28.03.2010 18:45, RippeR

help from poisons.. Well I do not know.. Many fly to the light.
Don't keep your windows and doors open - it will be smaller.. And poisons will not save you, otherwise you will have to worry yourself, these people do not live in your house, but just fly in and run out of nowhere.

30.03.2010 9:53, Варвара

Yes, the fact is that they live =)
As we moved there for the New Year, we still live with them...

Hello everyone
Please help us determine the species of these beetles, as well as the habitat of their larvae. They have bred in huge numbers and prevent my wife from living in peace. As soon as I catch them and feed them to someone, new ones appear. I have exactly one week to deal with this disaster, otherwise I will be kicked out of the house, along with all my animals frown.gif

Details:
Beetles started appearing at the end of winter, and there are currently piles of them. Today I caught about half a hundred, 20 pieces still crawling in different places.
Blaberuses and archimandrites live in open boxes in the kitchen.
There are houseplants on the window. There are cereals in the cabinets (I checked, I didn't find any larvae).

I enclose the photo.

You saved my life!
I looked in the bean bags, and there!..
I'm sorry I didn't find any maggots. Does it look like they're seasonal?
In addition, as in beans (probably in peas can be), they are still able to live somewhere?

No, this one is only in beans.
