On a couple of days at the institute, a certain animal was crawling along the wall, which attracted me with its unusual appearance: the fact is that it reminded me very much of a scorpion, only without a tail with a sting. As a child, I was fond of entomology, collected collections of insects, but I didn't see anything like it. If it is not difficult, tell me what kind of insect it is, small, about 3-4 mm long, dark brown in color. Caught in the southern part of the Moscow region (if this is important)

The description is colorful, and it is not difficult to find out - this is not an insect, but a false scorpion-an arachnid from the order Pseudoscorpiones. Damn, I'm late again

This afternoon, an unknown insect was found in the folds of clothing on the outside. It sat firmly, and it was difficult to detach itself from the fabric. The length is approximately 2-3 mm, the body is elongated, pointed from the tail, the legs are attached immediately behind the head, the color is gray, a darker stripe along the top of the body. Runs fast for such a little thing. They decided that it was blood-sucking, because there was a bloody trail after it was crushed...
What is it? Does this species prefer solitude, or is there a colony waiting for us behind the baseboard?
P.S. This is not a cockroach, not a bug, not a moth, and certainly not an ant... We swam, we know...

We moved here 8 months ago. They moved as expected in boxes that were taken from stores. Some little-used items still lie in boxes, until they have acquired furniture. Recently noticed that there were some beetles at home. They began to sort through the boxes with things, and there were beetle larvae.Please tell me what these beetles are and how to get rid of them? Toli they came from boxes, toli still from where. They appeared a couple of months ago. They come out one at a time and mostly only at night, when I'm sitting at the computer. I hear-somewhere it will fly by. I turn on the light - sitting on the wall or crawling on the curtain.
What are these beetles and how to deal with them?
