Similar to Zophobas morio. I grow it myself, but for food for invertebrates and lizards.

Thanks! It seems that it is rather small, however, only 24 mm. Just what is he doing in Israel?

In the "Determinant of insects of the European part of the USSR" of 1965 it is written: -
" Prionus coriarius. Us. males 12-chl., females-11-chl.” (although on the
Internet, females also have us. 12-chl. (Foto) But that's not the point. Prionus besicanus has 12
-member antennae in both sexes (Foto 1, 2) What do you think of the male
With 13-member antennae? (Foto 3)

Good afternoon, please tell me what kind of roommates? They were noticed in the kitchen, mainly on packages of cereals. How to deal with such problems? Too much bred.

Help identify the following insects:

Photo 1-Sawfly (Tenthredinidae)
Photo 2-not an insect, but a jumping spider (Salticidae)
Photo 3 - of course, the grasshopper. I won't say any more - I don't know them very well (to put it mildly).

18.07.2011 18:14, Anders

I know that the second one is a jumping spider, but I would like to know the specific species. And the others, too. And the third one looks more like a cricket to me.

18.07.2011 18:38, Victor Titov

I know that the second one is a jumping spider, but I would like to know the specific species. And the others, too. And the third one looks more like a cricket to me.

By pointing out that the second photo is a spider, I first wanted to clarify that this photo is not an insect (since from your post - "help me identify the next insects" - we can conclude that, in your opinion, all three images are insects, and this is not the case). As for the third photo-it's still a grasshopper smile.gif.
By the way, I recommend placing each photo in the appropriate topic:
photo 1 (sawfly) - in the definition of hymenoptera http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...0&#entry1225285
Photo 2 (spider) - in the definition of arachnids http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=180406
Photo 3 - b definition of erect wings http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...0&#entry1225210
This way, experts will see them faster, and you will have a chance to learn more about the characters you have captured.

Small beetles appeared in the kitchen. They are 3 mm long, mottled - brown with black, they have large antennae, 6 legs, but the hind legs are larger, they fly, but for short distances, when trying to strangle they pretend to be dead. It seems to fly in from the window, but I have already closed the window for 2 days and they are climbing from somewhere. They mostly sit on glass, light linoleum, and red carpet. They're everywhere! I thought about washing the mirror, but one of them even got into Mr. Muscle's pulivelizer. Who is it? And how to withdraw them!??? Help, eh!

Hello! Please tell me what kind of monsters we have. So far, they have only been seen on the floor, crawling quickly when you touch them, curling up in a ring. Three pairs of legs, white belly and black back, approximately 1.5 cm long. It is not clear where this infection comes from and where to spray dichlorvos, it seems that everything has already been shaken up. With horror, I imagine the moment when these larvae will turn into something more terrifyingweep.gif, and I have a feeling that they are mutating, because the first ones found seem to be different from the last, although I can't say for sure. Very scary frown.gif

Yes, this is really a real grasshopper, namely-ashy bush Pholidoptera griseoaptera.

Hello! Help me identify it! They sit in corners, don't like the light, and I found them in bed too. Who are they? How to get rid of it? Beetle length 4-5 mm. I enclose the photo.

A month ago, I vacuumed all the cracks in the sofas, washed the floor with bleach. Still, they show up in a week. Should we be wary of them? I have sabaka, but her fur is clean.

26.07.2011 21:29, Коллекционер

these are not beetles, but their larvae, beetles from them will be-kozheedy
feed on wool, fur, food residues, dead insects, but they do not attack a person(as far as I know), check the bread box or deposits of fur things, maybe they just live there

31.07.2011 13:35, litprince

they crawl and fly. they hang out on the window, curtains, and ceiling.
I caught one in a box. who does it look like and what should I do with it? picture: juke.jpg

The photo showssmile.gif something similar to a grain (Bruchidae). Check the stock of legumes: peas, beans, etc.

Thank you. don't the seeds have a rectangular body?
this one confused me with its triangular shape (and lack of bristles on the antennae)

Hello!

Please help me determine who it is?

Some small beetles occupied the kitchen. We have already checked all the products in the kitchen. Nothing criminal was found. But these beetles keep flying and keep coming from somewhere.

Hi everybody. If anyone knows tell me what kind of beetles (which are smaller, the size is somewhere with 2 mm)?can they bite? It's just that someone has been hammering me at home for a week, my whole arm is covered in blisters! I started climbing to look for bedbugs somewhere, but so far I've only found eight of them! They look like little cockroaches.

Small brown beetles are similar to the Surinamese flour eater. Most likely in flour, sift and find out. Or check the cereals. In nature, beetles are predatory, as well as synanthropic pests of cereals. Control measures: either throw out the damaged product, or carefully sort through the inventory. A person is not attacked =)

Of the objects shown in the photo, no one could have bitten you. We have already written to you about small brown beetles - these are Surinamese flour eaters. A large beetle with no legs-it looks like some kind of darkling. "Worm-like" creatures in the center and in the lower right corner are the larvae of skin-eating beetles. In short, none of them has anything to do with the blisters on your hands.

Where is the apartment/house (floor) located? Are there any pets at home? If a private house, whether there is an agricultural enterprise. animals?

08.08.2011 15:01, DanMar

Please tell me what it is?! Found in the large male grasshopper Drymadusa limbata, earlier in Decticus albifrons. The insects were sedentary, so they were caught and eaten by others. There are still the bellies in which this was found. For some reason, this phenomenon only happened to males. If this is the cause of their death, how can this be prevented?
There is also additional information.

In Moscow, a lot of huge flies suddenly appeared in the apartment, the size of a horsefly, slow, fly lazily. Yesterday I killed 20-30 pieces, today again in the kitchen there were several pieces. I can't figure out where they come from. There are no small ones, only very large ones.

Please tell me what kind of animals they are, what is the reason for their appearance, are they dangerous, how to fight?

Oh, now the walls need to be dismantled in search of a dead rat?.... confused.gif

Yes, they are dangerous, can carry helminth eggs (="worms") and other unpleasant things. It is better to kill them quickly by mechanical means.

I've killed them, but there are no new ones yet. And what, everything where they were sitting (walls, ceilings, furniture, etc.) can now be contagious? Need to disinfect the apartment somehow? Or is it not so scary?

10.08.2011 13:07, sokolix

Fly-phobia, maybe a pigeon or someone else died in the hood (ventilation hole, in the kitchen and possibly in the toilet).
