Thank you very much! This is Evania.

27.06.2011 19:09, Pirx

Is Prosevania the right name? Google doesn't find this.
And we do have cockroaches. We moved into this apartment 1.5 months ago and almost immediately found black cockroaches= (Now we are fighting them. It turns out that if you defeat cockroaches then these insects will not be?

A normal valid name is Google, in fact, I have 6590 mentions.

27.06.2011 19:58, isin

Thank you, I already found it. Parasitize on black cockroaches, just like us.

There will be no comments about my ticks? (

However, Many feed on organic dust. Any acaricides are suitable, you still need to process the entire apartment, not just one computer.

Who knows what kind of creature it is?

Who knows what kind of creature it is?

It looks like a solpuga (aka phalanx). Where was the picture taken?

05.07.2011 14:38, Alexandr Zhakov

She is.

The photo was taken in Dubovka, Volgograd region. What to expect from it and is it dangerous for people?

06.07.2011 15:25, Guest

Why not 8 but 10 paws?

06.07.2011 23:17, имам

the same thing got into my house.
there may be more of them and they are dangerous.

07.07.2011 2:46, smgl

Big crunchies flew in bundles through the open windows.. they scratch loudly, fall even louder to the floor, and keep trying to climb on top of me... sleep interfere in general, reptiles.
(just complaining)

Why not 8 but 10 paws?

The front pair (long) is not the legs, but the pedipalps.

Help me identify the bug, this is the 5th one in a month. 1st floor, from where they climb no matter how much. Maybe they fly, although this one has been sitting in the bathroom all day and doesn't seem to be going to fly. But maybe it seemed to me but 1 flew to me in bed))) This one measures 3.5 cm in length without a mustache.

What a mess. I've never seen one like it. Only redheads. Thank you I will know now.

10.07.2011 11:14, vlad-veras

This is Blatta orientalis. They live in places with high humidity and high temperatures , such as baths, basements with leaking pipes, etc.

Help identify the insect.
I live in the center of Kamchatka. At the dacha, I walked in shorts on the tall grass, 5 minutes after walking, I felt a bite on my leg. There were about four of these insects crawling on my leg.
The size is about 4 mm, the tip of the body (like a tail) can move.

Maybe it's a larva of some equidistant wing?

yes, this is most likely the larva of a cicada-it is also called pennywort most
likely you accidentally rescued them from their hiding places

and they bit you, they probably thought you were a forage plant

Good time of day. Recently there was such a misfortune: in the bedroom I found insects barely distinguishable by the eye (black, approximately) biting, and in two days they multiplied in such numbers that it is impossible to fall asleep from their attacks. as it visually seems to me-the size is less than a millimeter in length. Can you tell me who they might be and how to deal with them?

13.07.2011 4:56, Astra12

In the country a wooden house. In the spring, these beetles appeared around the window. They crawl in an amount of about 20-40 pieces. After collecting them with a vacuum cleaner, they reappear. Length 3-4 mm. They crawl around the window (on the ceiling, on the glass), in the evening - on the ceiling around the lamp. They fly over from time to time (they crawl more). If you push, then hard.

These are grains, most likely beans. They develop in dry beans, so check stocks.

Without a photo, you will get a fortune telling not on coffee grounds...

13.07.2011 10:42, Коллекционер

maybe bed beetles..
no photo is difficult

13.07.2011 10:49, IRONHIDE

with their size, it's hard to see them... unfortunately, my camera doesn't have a macro camera.

13.07.2011 19:29, Pirx

It's hard without a photo

a bed bug smaller than a millimeter?

just because it's a cicada larva doesn't mean it's penny

13.07.2011 20:21, kingART

in this light, it is not clear, or the larva of a ground beetle(which is unlikely, once in a fish)
or the larva of a leatherworm of any kind

Does anyone know the name? I can say that this black-haired girl lives in America (found in Israel!) and I know that its larvae are specially grown for poultry feed. Thank you.

Similar to Zophobas morio. I grow it myself, but for food for invertebrates and lizards.
