Hello everyone!!!

so, on April 28 of this year, they gave me a pupa-see photo - and I do not know what to do with it! I want to grow it and release it. Help please oprelelit that this for butterfly - after all neznaya this, I not can create its conditions for razvitiya. And in general, how to properly keep a pupa at home?? Good people, if someone raised a butterfly HIMSELF - share your experience!!!!

What should I do with it? "hang it up?" bury it in the ground? in the heat and whether to put in the cool? how long does this condition take? when will it hatch?

The pupa was found by a neighbor in the dacha (where exactly-in the ground, on a tree, etc. - it was not possible to find out). I live in Simferopol, Crimea. The pupa on the first day was yellow, and on the next day it turned dark brown and hardened. Although even now, if you touch it with your finger , it moves! The body is 2 cm long, 6 mm wide, fusiform, smooth, without protrusions, divided into 9 segments.
I keep it in a flower pot on the windowsill.
the file name is the date of the snapshot.

- sincerely, Lena

it looks like a bear, but it doesn't matter..
Take a jar, put earth or some nonsense on the wall, attach gauze or mesh or at least a napkin. Create a slightly moist (but not too much, so as not to rot) and warm atmosphere and put it in the shade, wait for babku

waiting for my grandmother..
.. And "eat" I would so could, nefig you ask was! That's why I'm asking, because I want to raise her... and you would like to EAT something! I can probably imagine you running after cockroaches with a fork at home...

You just need to" cleverly " devour.. So let's say to eat a shaggy caterpillar, despite all the protein, it would be very lupo (with a swollen tongue, they would walk for the rest of their lives) lol.gif

After all, you can pluck and scorch the pumpkin first, but we don't eat chickens and geese with feathers. umnik.gif
