Well, in England, they don't specifically burn dry grass-in this case, it's someone who probably threw away a cigarette butt that wasn't extinguished.

Specially, on duty, so to speak, they put "investigative excrement" - dry grass does not light up from cigarette butts-these are fairy tales of lazy interrogators! What lights up is dry pine needles and then, with a bunch of all sorts of coincidences. Although... maybe there is some other grass in the English regions?!

One of the brightest childhood memories of 4-5 years. My father showed us that we should not throw paper into the fire, using the example of a nearby recreation company, which threw paper into the fire, and the fire picked up the ashes and carried them down the wind, and such ashes, with fire points, fell not far from us into the dry grass. A trickle of smoke rose in the wind and a fire appeared, for the child it was understandable, the fire came with the wind, but I would not remember it, but.... my father began to trample the fire, but there was a lot of grass the fire jumped out from under his feet and another grass caught fire, my father began to extinguish it with a jacket thrown off, called to help, two companies with the use of GAS 69 (dragged, either a tree, or bushes smashing grass), cut down bushes and" firecrackers " extinguished the grass for two hours, not allowing the fire to spread to the coniferous forest, my brand-new small backpack burned down, I got a burn on my hand (grabbed a smoldering branch to help stew). And never in my life did I throw paper that wasn't twisted into a tourniquet into a bonfire. There is much less fire in the ashes than in the butt of a cigarette. Especially in modern ones, which can burn without human intervention. smile.gif

Here's a great story about a cigarette butt:

So you yourself answered your detailed story! The paper twisted into a bundle is very close to the cigarette butt in terms of calorific value and specific gravity - and unlike simple sheets of paper, it does not fly with ascending air currents, does not settle on easily ignited parts of plants (dry leaves of cereals), and the fire core is not on the surface, but under a layer of insulating material - ash! Unlike a simple sheet of smoldering paper, neither the cigarette butt nor the paper bundle has the ability to directly affect the fire core on the surface to be ignited!

dry grass doesn't catch fire from cigarette butts - these are the tales of lazy interrogators!

What then regularly lights up the grass along roads and paths? Why are the roadsides burning in the steppe?

How many times have I watched myself-a car stops on the side of the road, Meng gets out of it, looks around - if there is someone in sight, then pretends to take a leak, if there is no one - sets fire to the grass, jumps into the car and quickly runs away..... like he is not in business. And not boys indulge, but normal-looking adult uncles.

If a bird hits you or a car, they usually say that it's for money.
And if the seagull, and even on the head and clothes, it means that someone will soon break the jackpot. smile.gif
