Something from the night in the vicinity of the village of Donino, Ramenskoye district (from April 30 to May 1, 2010) and from day fishing in the vicinity of platf. Nerskaya of the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district (May 1, 2010). From the one that did not appear in the frame, you can specify a completely fresh male endromis, four or five species of scoops (all banals), by day - a male napi, a male argiolus, a male brassicae (this one is in one copy), plus the usual set of wintering animals. The destination of the trip was pavonia, but not marked. A very strong suspicion of polychloros( flight), before that only xanthomelas were found this spring.

In the vicinity of platf. Nerskaya is undergoing preparatory work (who is not too lazy, can download and watch videos http://narod.ru/disk/20312805000/MVI_8716.avi.html and http://narod.ru/disk/20313387000/MVI_8717.avi.html according to the gas pipeline repair project, laying two lines will cause temporary damage to insect populations (myrmidone, in particular). So far, they are rolling logs over a swampy section of a gas pipeline clearing, so that later equipment (tractors) can pass there. Along the edge of the clearing, many birches, aspens, firs, and pines were cut down. A section of the pipeline has been excavated on the approach to the vents (closer to the Nerskaya River and to the Kazanskaya railway). But after the repair, according to the norm, the line should be left alone for 35 years.

Report on May Day holidays.
First about butterflies, although there is nothing special to write about them, except for the cocoonworm, the rest is all pop. So,

Then I moved to a dacha in Neftyanik, O-Zuevsky district, 1-3. 05. 10. where I spent two nights and one day. I was pleased with Phyllodesma, again one and again a male. The fact that he has arrived (and not only him, it is already full of almost summer views), suggests that it is already the middle of May at my dacha smile.gif. Here is a list of what flew at night.

During the day, whiteflies, mottled wings, and buckthorn pigeons fly with might and main. Now about the beetles.
picture: DSC03863_1.JPG
At night, buckets of water lovers and mayskys. Some elephants for the Lobster.
picture: DSC03870_1.JPG
Having gone to the forest in the morning, I found a gold leaf on a birch tree. Similar to Mariana, but a little smaller.
picture: DSC03868_1.JPG
A trip to the forest in the evening brought a more interesting find – a woodcutter, very similar to a tanner both in appearance and size, but with one prong on each side of the cephalothorax. Gentlemen buggers, do you have any options? By the way, its appearance (one mustache is half missing, and the floor of the leg is also missing) makes you think about its winter smile.gifquarters .

Many people think so. Although it's not banal for me (I only found it twice). Read it here:

Some people get caught often, but others don't get caught at all.. Their habitat is strange - they develop in old willows (? roots), and on the willows you will find figs, usually just on the paths they find.

Moscow region, Odintsovo district, near the village of Pestovo. List of items found for May 1-3; caught, in fact, one night, because 2-3 was a thunderstorm and a downpour. From the daytime ones, there are already mottled wings, dawns and spring pigeons. But I didn't see any cocoonworms or crested creepers at all. frown.gif Among the beetles, I noticed racehorses - mezhnyak and field, as well as Platycerus. In the forest, small staffs and nutcrackers were falling into the net.

It's really strange: L. hortensis and G. quadripunctatus were always full of juice (in M. O. pravda) - can you dig under the bark? I have a more strange situation with the most banal subsurface species Pytho depressus before it was like dirt, but for several years now I have not found one!

I examined the sap-bearing stumps-they are covered with flies, ants, and a little earlier-Inachis io and Aglais urticae overwintered. There are no beetles at all (!!!) - no toddlers, no staffs, no sparkles and others like them! I don't even remember that! As for Pytho depressus, according to my observations, it is subject to fluctuations in its population. Years of abundant mass reproduction are periodically "diluted" by relative smallness.

This is worth cooking. This is Gothic of course, but still interesting. And it can only be similar to Staudinger's askoldensis.

On Saturday, I was in the Stupinsky district of the Moscow region. A little pofotkal on a swampy clearing near the village. Matveykovo. Of the butterflies, there were mostly lemongrass and zorka and some other small whiteflies. From beetles - ubiquitous field horses and nutcrackers, and in the swamp - water lovers.

Report on May Day fishing in Chigasovo, Odintsovo district, Moscow region.
It was flying well, since the beginning of darkness, at least a dozen Panolis flammea scoops arrived, which had not previously been encountered in our places with the blackfin. Perhaps the role was played by planting pine trees in the nearest clearing.
By one o'clock in the morning, 7-8 males of Biston strataria flew to the screen almost simultaneously. I took three pieces, the ones that were of good quality. The most recent were two dark specimens.
There were no endromises or tufts.
