Now you can link your photos to map marks on the map section not only on the photo page, but also on the page for editing the photos you have uploaded. On the edit page a new text field has now been added for each photo: “Map mark”. If you've already linked a photo to a mark on the map, the mark number is indicated in the new field. If you do not like the standard color design of the Insecta.pro website and/or if the standard colors do not have enough contrast between the text and the background for you — now you can switch to alternative colors. And if you get tired of alternative ones, you can always go back to the main colors. In order to change background and font colors you see on the site pages, you need to: 1. Log ...
Good afternoon. There was a pause in the active work of the website, and now a major reform of its technical part and content of the website is undergoing, plus the issue of integration with the entomological forum is being resolved. The exchange section will be restored in a new format, but not now — after updating the main sections. I assume that it'll take place in the spring, but I won't ...

I see the photos are connected. But if not all of them are connected, and the problem remains — please let me know.
The species was added, but synonym remained... I have now deleted the synonym, moved the photo to H. heydeni and put it as an illustration to the species.

Apparently, they taught wrong. The very formulation of the question "why are such and such living organisms needed in nature” is incorrect.
Anthaxia signaticollis Krynicki, 1832 is an independent species! All the images belong to Anthaxia signaticollis speceis.
Nikita, I think you should read the book Children of Time (and maybe the entire cycle of the same name), which was written by comrade Adrian Tchaikovsky. If you don't read in English, it is also available in Russian translations, but I don't know about the quality of these translations. The book describes the life of intelligent spiders quite well for popular literature, including the author even ...
Theresa, thank you for your pictures. Previously, there were no photos of this species on the Insecta.pro website.
Just in case, I'll write here: such a problem could indeed have occurred earlier when uploading some photos, but it was solved. You can upload both single photos and archives (within the size limits specified on the upload page). If you come across problem like this, please let me know.
The author had a identification of the species, but it was not uploaded for this photo. I've added it now.
