Male.
Shot dates of some of my latest uploaded photos should be updated to the right ones (wrong or no date at all). Not to miss them.
When was shot: 23/6/1996.
Shot date: 23/08/2009.
Shot date: 05/08/2009.
Shot date: 05/08/2009.
When was shot: 20/06/2010.
Shot date (wrongly signed) should be changed to 31/12/2009 (raised butterfly).
No, no label, but this one is surely from Columbia. Tough guys, say.
I'm so bothered with this photo already for a long time. Can suggest only Thymelicus lineola, Ochsenheimer, 1808, or Thymelicus sylvestris, Poda, 1761 (tough angle).
Southern views and often migrate from south to north. And at one time it was mistakenly listed in the Red Book of the Moscow region. Now, thank God it was expelled from there.
4 types of here should be to leave troidesah: helena; hypolitus; prattorum; rhadamantus (brukianu also move).
I do this only candidate for transfer to ornithopters see what people will say?
Trogonoptera
It is not forgotten: it is necessary to combine. Ornithoptera priamus just appeared.
Amendment: Trogonoptera brookiana (Wallace, 1855)
Kind of interesting because it is the smallest species of the genus Morpho.
The wingspan of no more than our butterfly Machaon.
View quite unfairly listed in the KK Moscow area in my opinion. It is not rare for us, but rather local.
This species is identified correctly.

Ornithoptera priamus urvillianus subspecies (Guérin-Menéville, 1838).
Subspecies, please. Thoas obliges.
Also let's apply it to the genus.
Yes, that should be removed (label definitely sucks). Change to: caught location unknown.
Yes, Natalia, you are absolutely right, this one is Eulithis prunata. Just has been identified by Sungaya at molbiol.ru
Evgeny, obviously subspecies is used till species nominative added. Right after that everything should get clear. At least one for sure should have it.
Got it at my personal webpage.
Same here, however sometimes I've just got such "naked" ones :)
Thanks, Russian Far East, apparently?
Dmitry, got its underside (see mail).
Mine from personal account page are also identified all.
Petr, thanks, and to Dmitry too, once more. What a story, had "undetermined" status more than a year, and turned out such a treasure :)
Maybe we should wait for Dmitry.
Good, I'll look it through and upload underside later.
Female now.
Male yet.
Petr, sure. Please, copy Dmitry full info as it is. I asked him personally to check mine.
As Papilio nephelus chaon, Westwood, 1845?
Uploaded underside. Anyway, thanks!
Needed for sure there, on website.
Hm, hard to believe, really hard. Check your mail, sent helenus underside.
Thanks!
Once was websearching for that, and thanks for remarks. We'll get them finally :)
Wow, even without spurs.
Just for the record: my Indian helenus was shot from its underside, see #3019.
No way, can't be Helenus (way smaller), and yes, no label again.
Later will shoot its label (if I find), could be wrong.
Thanks (also no labels, websearching some time ago).
