The burrow was made in a crack in the ground, without the slightest hint of cobwebs. Still, the method of searching for lycosides by light reflected from tapetum is cool. If she'd been sitting there during the day, I'd never have found her. And so a little shone-and it's ready. But, I must say, most of the received signals were false - small wolf spiders shine their eyes no weaker than tarantulas. I even took them for pregrandis juveniles at first (the color is quite similar), but then I saw how these 5-millimeter spiders mate

I also witnessed an abnormal phenomenon again: the brightest spot of light darted across the grass, cut my eyes unpleasantly, and disappeared in an instant. Already searched the sky for UFOs. But most likely, some idiot shot a laser at me from several kilometers away.

I visited Katamenes today. Unfortunately, the moment was not very successful: the wasp loaded the last caterpillar into the nest so quickly that I did not have time to see, let alone take a picture, and then proceeded to seal it. But in between, I managed to take one overview photo of the nest, on which the rear of the caterpillar is slightly visible in the dark, here is a crop from it:
