As planned, I went on a photo hunt on the Donetsk Sea. On the way, I noticed a strange phenomenon - the road was plowed along with a plow, so it was very difficult to go. Only after a kilometer did I understand. what it is - a fire-resistant furrow. The fire there was recently a terrible force by our standards. not only the grass was burned, but also some of the trees in the young landing. Here-this furrow, apparently, and tried to stop the spread of the flame. Partial success was achieved: in one place it helped, in another the fire somehow leaked out. But still, it's nice that at least they are trying to fight steppe fires at such a technical level, and not just men with sticks, as before.

Unfortunately, there were much fewer birds than there were during fishing, for example, herons - only one small white species. And they were all sitting at the limit of reach, even with EFR = 800mm. They didn't start flying until just before sunset. when there was already little light. Because the pictures still turned out not so hot. But I got caught on the fly of Solenopsis fugax ants, their mating swarms were so dense that I had to dig out the stuck males from the lens and various holes in my own head. This ant, which all year long leads an inconspicuous completely underground lifestyle during the mating summer, arranges a real extravaganza, even close to incomparable with any other species of our fauna. And they eat them all, who are not lazy.

But with other hymenoptera there is not very much, although the area by our standards is huge, even if, mostly, not virgin land, but a very old deposit. And the grass stand is weakly closed, and there are cliffs, and outcrops of various rocks, and reinforced concrete blocks from some ancient construction site remain. Thin-leaved stallions in bloom are just a sea. But even a tenth of the entomofauna that I see every time in my gully is not there.

Both okushok and sudachok ended up with liguli-greetings to Alex and his Kama. Yes, so hefty that there is practically no meat left. I know some friends who in such cases, without further ado, prepare the helminths themselves and praise them (quote: "fat ones"), but I'm not so hungry, so the whole catch was sent to the trash can. Interestingly, in the spring I caught exactly three fish in the same place, and not a single sick one. So Alex also needs to visit Kama more often, maybe a leafless place will find the time. On a fishing trip, I was caught in a heavy downpour with a thunderstorm, although in the morning nothing, including the vaunted SFS, foreshadowed trouble.

In the environment of normal literate naturalists (among whom the South Ukrainian ones obviously do not belong), it is generally accepted not to interfere with natural processes, because this is the simplest and most effective method of environmental protection. Only when an unnatural, that is, anthropogenic, factor looms as an inexorable threat, whether you want it or not, you have to be sophisticated with all sorts of reintroduction programs, but this is not the case. Oak hawks successfully live and breed in the forest? "Don't bother me!

And we have not seen swifts since mid-August. And it's nice - they won't eat polistov. Today it was sunny, +21 at maximum, no wind.

P.S. Panov's extreme photo is a direct living personification of Panov's favorite phrase " Who stood on whom?" Katamenesov did not know at all at once; next time they would be ashamed of pan. This lens weighs about 50 g, inside it seems to be three or 4 lenses.
Judging by the experiments, the image is really practically unaffected by what went in and out, well, only the details can be slightly washed out, the aperture increases by at least 1.2 times.

The first picture was taken on the Lomo object from a distance of 20 cm, the second on the Lomo object and this lens, a distance of 40 cm, but the object had to be unscrewed as much as infinity. Through such a lens, it makes sense to take pictures on DSLRs through a TV set, or soap dishes with a zoom of at least 5X.
The third image of the honeycomb on Olympus SP510UZ in supermacro with 3 cm, the fourth through the lens at a zoom of about 7X, the shooting distance is about 30-40 cm.

And it is very noticeable how creepy the native object is in soap dishes, what with the lens that without it
