I kept paying attention to my jaws. If you could still show it in the photo, and then something is completely confused in them.

Please give us a link to bees with long whiskers. About 20 years ago I caught 2 pieces, but they were not saved, they remained only in memory.

ukraine, Donetsk region. Makeyevka. photo taken today.
externally, it looks as much like a wasp as possible, but it is one and a half to two times larger, the body is not striped, only the hind legs are striped, something yellow, hairy under the front part of the body, it is not clear whether it is a load or a part of the body.

I will say before the appearance, although this is a thankless task, and even for such photos, well, since all the signs more or less converge-Sceliphron spirifex. And he was most likely carrying a female spider Misumena vatia for his larvae.

This is Sceliphron destillatorium, as the tegulae and postscutellum are yellow.

Carcharoth! Many thanks, finally I will now have proof of the long whiskers of bees in Ukraine, otherwise no one believed, even beekeepers.

06.06.2012 9:18, Merl.Kory

Dr. Niko, Carcharot, many thanks, if you believe Google - still Sceliphron destillatorium, and apparently with a load, but in the garage such yellow spiders have not seen)

Dr. Niko, Carcharot, thank you very much, if you believe Google - still Sceliphron destillatorium, and apparently with a load, but in the garage I did not see such yellow spiders )

You won't even see it, because the female is bricking the spiders into their egg nests. And these spiders themselves usually sit on flowers waiting for an unlucky fly or bee.

As far as I understand (sorry for the quality of the photo) - this is a brac. Is it possible to say something about the genus? From similar ones, I found Aphidius, Zele.
