No, not like bimaculatus. The legs are black, as far as I can see. And it's a good idea to specify the biotope. Is the beetle assembled at all?

Biotope - a clearing in a mixed (coniferous) forest, with garden plots on it (the clearing). Shot in the garden smile.gifThe beetle is not collected, just photographed...

KDG to the studio! mol.gif

They make noise, wake you up...
the greasy female femoratus is. in my opinion. And in general-Leiopus should be mounted so that the pronotum is normally visible.

Here's a little bit of karabid. Maybe something can be determined...

4. Tajikistan, Maidan Gorge, h=2000 m. 13.07.1998
Length 11 mm
5. Turkmenistan, Aushlu gorge, 11.04.1977
Length 5 mm
6. Very similar to Cymindis (s. str.) lineata Quens., 1806.
Azerbaijan, Gobustan, 16.05.2000.
Length 13 mm
8. Brachinus sp. Uzbekistan, Nuratau, Anum, h=1800 m. 06.1996.
Length 9 mm

4-Where is this gorge? At least what kind of ridge? Pictured is a pterostichus from the subgenus Asioplatysma Kryzh., 1968. To put it mildly, it is difficult to determine from the photo. You should at least know where it came from.
5. Syntomus fuscomaculatus (Motsch., 1844)
6. He is, as far as the photo shows.
8. This photo is hopeless. Details or a very high-quality photo of good resolution in the personal account.

It may well be. It's hard to tell from the photo. What confused me - in the second photo, the beetles somehow unusually for Chrysolina are drawn back corners of the elytra.

I wouldn't say it's exactly Platycerus caraboides. A variant with Platycerus caprea is not excluded. Here the mandibles should be carefully watched.

Help, PLZ, with the nutcrackers. All – Novosibirsk. Are there any contraindications (the first – Ampedus cinnabarinus, the second-Agrypnus murinus, the third (approx. 17 mm) - Selatosomus reichardti)? The question is caused by the fact that along with these considerations, there are also doubts… confused.gif

The first one may be sanguineus, you can't tell from the photo. The second one without options is true, but the third one is unlikely. Was it specified for your region? Along Gurieva, the area is further east. Yes, and the legs of reichardti should be red-brown (at least the hips), and yours seems to be all black.

The first one has a head and psp with reddish hairs (in sanguineus - in black) (unfortunately, this is not visible in the photo), and about the third one, indeed, from Irkutsk to the east... And the legs, too, (I managed to look at them in the light - they look cherry red, like the first 2 parts of the mustache)

Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, I can't specify anything about this gorge, the fees are not mine and I was guided only by the inscriptions on the mattress.
I'll send you the details on brachinus without fail. I really hope for your help.
