for barbels, everything is correct, except for Anastrangalia-here I think it is really reyi (Heyden, 1889) - the punctuation of the elytra in sanguinolenta is coarser, and in females it is more noticeable.

I just wrote about the size! This is something that a person at the Silpha-Phosphuga level can distinguish. Let's also ask you to specify the size in addition to the place and time. smile.gif
I can't see the head here, which would have been no problem, but the flattening of the elytra in the humeral part of the elytra inclined me to Phosphuga, although there is no shine characteristic of it. Compare the shoulder part of the elytra in Silpha and Phosphuga.
Although I just looked at the shape of the shield... The devil only knows. Let them write the size - the question will be removed (if it is known, of course). I'm already leaning towards Silpha myself.

Vo, or maybe it's just S. carinata? Then everything "dances"! She's it!

I'm for S. carinata

This is called "looped" - the most realistic option was not taken into account!

03.10.2009 15:55, Fornax13

I think, yes, it is necessary to specify the size too. And here, really, it would be nice to have a different angle... With the head.
About the shoulder part - I don't really understand, to be honest shuffle.gif
But according to the general habit, I am still for the sylph. Maybe not tristis, but carinata dark in general... The ribs are like those of a sylph, and it's also very smooth. And thicker than the rainbow.

About the shoulder part: tristis does not have a clear flattening in the anterior third of the elytra at the shoulders, the slope is uniform to the marginal edge, and phosphuga has a clear flattening, as in carinata, which was first forgotten smile.gif

If my sclerosis and eyesight do not change, then about 10 mm, maybe a little more. Unfortunately, there is no other angle...

Well, we have already reached a consensus-Silpha carinata! But the size is from 12 mm and more!

Determining the Blaps genus from such photos is unrealistic. We need high-quality photos of the pronotum (so that the edging is visible) and the abdomen from below (at least).
And why don't you specify the dimensions?
At first glance, both are Blaps. The second one may be B. lethifera pterotapha Men.

On the second one, I confirm Blaps lethifera pterotapha Men., the confidence is not complete - I do not know the Transcaucasian fauna very well. Maybe something else is similar.
