2. poorly visible, but probably Leptura (s. str.) aethiops Poda, 1761
4. Not Aegomorphus clavipes Schrank, 1781 - this is a male Leiopus linnei Wallin, Nylander & Kvamme, 2009

Leiopus linnei Wallin, Nylander & Kvamme, 2009 in the Moscow region.? (never found it).

well, the beetle in the photo does not look like femoratus and punctulatus, according to the differences between nebulosus and linnei-the specimen looks exactly like the latter, you also had nebulosus earlier, probably all its finds should be attributed to linnei.

Thank you so much for the definition. I didn't expect it to be such an interesting view. This is a New Year's gift! jump.gif

This beetle was found under the canopy of the entrance of the Moscow house (apparently flew at night to the light of the lamp).

? Maybe one of the traditional ones... I'll ask Liparus to find out where exactly and the details... perhaps Skrylnik gave it to him, and he traveled both in Siberia and in Asia (including Afghanistan).

On the photo from the site kerbtier.de, presumably, - f. typica; I would like to look at the photo of ssp. pulla Ganglbauer, 1886 (= kryzhanovskii Kostin, 1973)to finally dissuade. The fact is that it is not from the "bay-barakhta": according to Cherepanov (Issue 6. pp. 161, 175-176) I did it that way, but you know better.

I think the second beetle is a female Xyleborus dispar (Western bark beetle).
But the third beetle is most likely Hylurgops palliatus (purple bark beetle, small spruce bark beetle)

Alexey Sazhnev, I read on the Internet, the Wax coat should have a bump in the middle of the lower leg of the middle leg from the outside. If so, then I didn't take the photo very well - the shin is turned just in this place to us. Although if you look closely just in this place, the glare is interrupted and in theory there should be an unevenness.

03.01.2010 21:37, Алексей Сажнев

I guess I was too smart and didn't look where you came from, if the beetle is from Belarus, then yes, it's Trichius fasciatus-aberrations, if you are suddenly interested, you can look here: http://assazhnev.narod.ru/fasciatus.jpg

Alexey Sazhnev, thank you! It's my own fault, I should have immediately indicated the place where the frame was taken in the message.
Trichius zonatus is not found in Belarus? Is the spike really on the outside? It just wasn't exactly said, and in the photo of Trichius fasciatus identified earlier here, this small spike was on the outside.
http://assazhnev.narod.ru/fasciatus.jpg - is it possible to identify Trichius fasciatus by this color?

04.01.2010 0:00, Алексей Сажнев

Yes, there is only one species of Trichius fasciatus in Belarus, Trichius zonatus - in Transcarpathia, you can use the link to determine the variation by the shape of the black pattern, where all the drawings relate to Trichius fasciatus, and show color variability, this is not so important, but you can do this for the sake of interest )

I think correctly, the first photo is good-apparently, such forms of M. urussovi were previously called the species M. guadrimaculatus, now reduced to synonyms
