Maxim, do you think rufipes? confused.gifI, of course, understand that rufipes also lives in Wed.Asia, but somehow it's all strange smile.gifAnd lugens-easily, of course, but I wouldn't vouch for it )

So it has a side corner of the platband healthy even when viewed from the side, acrossusny, it is exactly brown (light? I didn't think it was abnormal), obviously large. About the sand from the Astrakhan region somehow attracted attention, yes. But this is no longer anything, like. And lugens-really, easily, it's not caspius, not circumcinctus (and it's a little late for the latter). Of course, it is not necessary to vouch for the picture, but the idea about lugens is, in my opinion, the most plausible of all theoretically possible candidates (nigriventris, longeciliatus). The head is almost smooth, again.

yes, I just looked, with such "pits" only Agonum (Olisares) impressum (Panzer, 1796) seems to work

he is. I have Mongolian ones. Additional pores on the outer spaces give it a somewhat wild look, but with "Mongols" this is quite often the case smile.gif
Nebria looks not far removed from rufescens. But they are not serious, you should not print them according to the pictures.

There are only 3 nebria species listed for Mongolia, all from boreonebria:

kaszabi Shilenkov, 1982b: 151 A: ES MG
kerzhneri Shilenkov, 1982c: 250 A: MG
medvedevi Shilenkov, 1982c: 252 A: MG

Yes, what can you do, it is with them that you need to compare. And the female (I have such a premonition), even if it is not necessary, it is still useless.

Will it be possible to determine the hidden head before the view from the photo below?

This is hardly the case...

Who knows? Please tell me, which ones will it be? The beetle itself on the yarrow flower is 3 millimeters long. The photo was taken on September 23 at the Kiver station in the Viligodsky district of the Arkhangelsk region.

Thank you very much! It looks like Anomala vitis (Fabricius 1775).
(Anomala dubia : Die Halsschildbasis ist völlig ungerandet, während bei der verwandten und etwas größeren Art Anomala vitis die Halsschildbasis nur in der Mitte ungerandet ist.)

Hello!
Friends collected beetles in Karelia on September 07-10, 2015 and can't identify them.
Is it possible to do this from photos of this quality ? The size is about 1 cm.

Hello! please tell me, what kind of leaf beetle is this?
Chrysolina graminis or chrysolina herbacea? I'm already confused." And what is the difference between these types?

If you put both views side by side, you will be able to see the external differences. It is not very easy to formulate the differences, as I will be able to. Graminis has a much coarser sculpture, including on the pronotum, where longitudinal depressions are marked on the sides of the base. It is also on average larger, often has longitudinal colored blurred stripes on the sides of the elytra and along the suture (not always, in dry beetles they sometimes turn blue or disappear) and does not live on mint.
Cysolina herbacea is much smoother, with no roughly dotted indentations on the sides of the pronotum base. There are quite a lot of defining keys, and take a look at them for formal features. Your beetles in the picture seem to me graminis.
