I can't say for sure, but most likely it was a birch tree. Thank you. It seems to be similar to Dorytomus rubrirostris.

Yes, Melalgus. It can be called M. batillus (Lesne, 1902). At least it fits the description pretty well: http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/92...ge/233/mode/1up

Yes, it seems not synonyms. Here, I look at Danilevsky's checklist for February 17. Löbl & Smetana also go as two different ones. And in the photo they look almost the same.
