No. 3 was shot on the stump of a felled tree. Remnants of mixed forest. There is another picture. And corrected the date. It was actually taken on 12.08.2018.

So there are only two options: palustris and germinyi, southern laticollis almost certainly does not reach MO. The first one is more moisture-and shade-loving: more often in damp forests or along the banks of forest reservoirs, so that it squishes with moss and underfoot. The second one is a mesophile, rather: some forest edges, light pine forests or pine plantations on sand/chalk, but not quite dry. I like this beetle better as a germinyi, although I can't guarantee it.

Thank you. smile.gif Yes, according to the habitat description, germinyi is more suitable.

Today, a rather large ladybug -7 mm-flew onto the loggia. What kind of view? I've never seen one before. The color in the photo turned out to be redder, in fact closer to yellow.

Just what kind of thing is this? According to the description and photo from ZINA, it is similar to Chrysolina erzinica Mikhailov, 2002, but it is given only for Tuva.

Maybe this chrysoline is familiar to someone?
I identified it as Chrysolin cyanella (Gebler, 1830), but I am not sure what is correct.
Also from the Altai, from the Chui steppe.

2. Shot on 22.07.18 in a remote mixed forest. Biotope - aspen, birch, pine, spruce. Presumably, he fell from a tall old aspen tree when visiting it with a flock of tits - the absence of one leg is visible. I really liked this foe! Isn't this Saperda perforata?

112. Yes, it should be Hyphydrus ovatus. Other species are unlikely to reach you.

With floaters (Haliplus spp.) I won't risk it. There are at least two types of them.
