Thanks! I was also leaning towards this option, but here, on the site, I found descriptions of metalloids (http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtopic=184403) and now it seems to me that Autographa mandarina is more suitable.

Thank you Ilya! It turns out that this is a rather variable in color and rare scoop. Lucky.
And on the butterfly in the 2nd photo, could you say anything, at least up to the family? It looks like a moth of the genus Eupithecia, but I'm not sure.

In my opinion, your moth is most likely Eumannia sp. Two genera of similar moth Eumannia and Tephronia will be in Volume 6 of G M E (2017), then maybe we'll figure it out while I don't know them.

R. S. check out Sinev's list of them for your region and compare them

Only Eumannia oppositaria (Mann, 1864) is very similar in Sineva for the 13th region.

Yes, indeed, very similar. In addition to Sinev, this species, as the only representative of the genus Eumannia, is listed in Tsvetkov's list of moths of the Stavropol Territory (2010). At the same time, one of its collection points is indicated for the eastern dry - steppe zone of Stavropol, in which Budyonnovsk is located-the place of extraction of my specimen. Thank you so much for your help.

This is not Acronicta strigosa, it is the smallest of the lancets and has yellow scales on the lower edge of the upper wing at the base, if the butterfly is large, then it is Acronicta cuspis.

It's not very big, it's not enough for Acronicta cuspis, and it's too much for Acronicta strigosa. ??

Thanks Djon. I carefully checked my firebox with the available photos of Pyralis kacheticalis and P. regalis. The color of the forewings is more similar to kacheticalis. The golden-ochreous spot between the inner and outer white bandages is much smaller than in regalis, the inner white band is broad and almost reaches the posterior edge of the forewing. The overall color background is noticeably less bright than that of regalis.

In the male, the lowest spots on the lower wings are larger than in the female.

Dear Nikita,
And what should be guided in determining the sex of danaids in the case when the male does not differ in appearance from the female? At papilio for example, it is immediately clear on the tail, but with danaidkami as I doubt.
