Please help me determine the butterfly approximately, at least up to the family. The wingspan is 2.8 cm.

Similar to Galleriinae. Location unknown., specific, yes. And the forward clauses?
Is it Belarus, Europe, the Palearctic, or maybe the tropics?

If Palearctic -- then Semioscopis oculella.

Chrysocrambus craterella ?

From a photo of this angle, you can't say anything for sure:
Chrysocrambus craterella или Chrysocrambus cassentiniellus.

Slamka, it seems, overdid it with cassentiniellus, the valid name is linetellus after all.

How do they differ ?

You need to have a good view of the outer upper corner of the front wing,

craterella has a double stroke

in cassentiniellus (=linetellus) - single
well, they are found in different biotopes, at least in our smile.gifcountry they have an excellent size.
