Why polychloros? As far as I understand, you can't distinguish them visually, and you can only distinguish them when you take a picture or see a butterfly sitting close to you. In flight, they differ only with the acquisition of extensive experience in observing both species in nature.

What kind of paws, Alexey? smile.gif You mean polychloros? I was referring to other differences in the wing pattern. The color of the legs is just not the most reliable in this case. In addition, Andreas, as far as I can see from his posts for a long period on the forum, does not catch and does not consider, but only photographs butterflies in nature. You'll get confused looking at your paws here...

Very likely. I don't know this species. If it doesn't look like an article, it's a holotype from Stavropol. It is a mass species in the North Caucasus.
