This species had an extremely interesting feature. Males sat on the sunny side of the trees (each with its own territory, of course) and produced high-frequency clicks when a female sat down next to them. I was never quite sure whether they extracted the sound simply by beating their wings on the bark (the male moved quickly on the bark during courtship) or somehow independently. The "chirping" was loud, audible from a couple of dozen meters away and only during courtship of the female. Since they were sitting quite high up, this picture was the best I could get.

This is Hamadryas, but with the view I find it difficult, it is similar to H. feronia, but different species are very similar. I caught different fish. in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. I didn't pay attention to the chirping, but geographically, yes, males don't fly far and keep their wings open.

Yes, thank you, I have also been using these sites for a long time, recently there are a lot of sites on lepidoptera and their number is growing all the time, and the commercial site just has a description of the specifics of the butterfly, which is why I indicated it.

Genital analysis is necessary, so it is difficult to determine this genus, 5-6 hard-to-distinguish species.

There are doubts about this fingerfly L-21 mm

Probably Marasmarcha cinnamomea (Staudinger, 1870), but it is so, approximately.
What kind of doubt did you have?
