I ask for help in determining the moth

Pterothysanus laticilia Walker 1854 Callidulidae
If you try hard, you can unfurl a giant fringe along the inner edge of the hind wings, almost equal in length to the width of the wings themselves. If you still have it, of course. It should be pressed against the back of the rear fenders.

There was also such a taxon Euplocamus monetellus Ld., but it was reduced to synonyms for Euplocamus anthracinalis.
Look at the link, it looks like your butterfly:

Caught South Africa KwaZulu-Natal 02.2019

You know, it looks like an aberrative Agoma from Agaristinae, like Agoma trimenii,
only it has all the light pattern on the forewings reduced. Or is it a form that flies exactly in that place, mimics something..

Thank you. I thought so too. Moreover, along with this specimen, ordinary Agoma trimenii were caught.

Good afternoon!

I would like to post photos of butterflies that were caught mainly in September 2019 in the Ussuriysky Urban District of Primorsky Krai. Basically, these are different order ribbons - the 1st photo is the upper side of the wings, the next photo is the underside of the same butterfly.

Thank you in advance!

I just wanted to write that it would be good if there were more instances from this point.
I am glad that our assumptions were justified ! Happy aberrant day to you ! beer.gif

Judging by the caterpillar, it's probably A. euphorbiae

02.02.2020 18:10, Andrey Ponomarev

Judging by the caterpillar, it's probably A. euphorbiae

And how do you distinguish between caterpillars?

02.02.2020 18:44, Andrey Ponomarev

Cinerea has a caterpillar on the lepiforum, while euphorbiae has one in the Spool atlas:
https://twitter.com/prof_preobr/status/1223960422849613825

In my opinion, their caterpillars do not differ, according to imago euphorbiae is more contrasting and cinerea is even gray.

02.02.2020 18:53, Vlad Proklov

In Noctuidae Europaeae 11 just the opposite is written: euphorbiae caterpillars have a red stripe, while cinerea does not. And the butterflies there are slightly different.

New view for 22 regions. In the new CATALOG, it is placed in the genus Sunica. By the way: I didn't find it in the alphabetical index of species.

I apologize for the poor condition of the copies-apparently, they were caught on the run.
Maybe someone will have something inspired by these photos (except for the desire to spit).

It looks like Dichagyris of some kind. Or Actebia squalida, which lasted until the end of August.
