Thanks to RippeR. The color of the elytra (deep and purplish-brown, as if blurred along the edges) and the sculpture (flat spaces, of which only the primary ones are interrupted) are most similar to C. (M.) spasskianus putus. Almost identical to the beetle in the photo on the ZIN page. The difficulty, however, is that this species is distributed only in the Altai, and this is far from Listvyanka.

Please help me identify it.

Carabus (Semnocarabus) erosus sp.
But I don't give you 100%.I've only recently started studying these beetles myself.

To Buzman: Mr. rpanin is right - I would write the same. And as for the erosions, here you can find a dark forest with shapes. Judging by the locale, ssp. auliensis Lapouge, 1918

This is 99 % ernsti Kabak, 2001. But photos for comparison naturally do not hurt. smile.gif

1 - Carabus subg. Archiplectes. Without a dot, you can hardly determine it... Arhiplektes are better than vsgo points differsmile.gif
4-similar to Carabus shrenki, but the sculpture of elytra is strange.
5 - some Morphocarabus, possibly henningi

1-Carabus (Archiplectes) - or reitteri ssp. juenthneri Reitter, 1899
- or satyrus Kurnakov, 1962
4-Carabus (Acoptolabrus) schrencki ssp.
5-Carabus (Morphocarabus) hummeli, similar to ssp. pusongensis Imura, 1993

without dots, it is unlikely that something can be sayed

Thank you so much for your help! beer.gif

Regarding the Turkmen label - there may be a mistake in the full text, due to the fact that this material was given to me, and there was only one information for all the items (Anthia, megacephaly, etc.): Turkmenistan - S.E. Serahs, 05.1993.
For this reason, she could be superfluous in this company.

I apologize for any possible misunderstanding smile.gif

hummeli? I think it's more like Henning, isn't it?

3-Calisoma (Campalita) chinense Kirby, 1817
4-Carabus (Acoptolabrus) schrenkki schrenkki Motschulsky, 1860
5-Carabus (Morphocarabus) hummeli pusongensis Imura, 1993
All these animals run in the same places, although it is far from Turkmenistan.

Well, no Ripper, it's definitely hummeli. This is clearly seen in the prsp. In addition, the size of 29 mm for henningi, to put it mildly, is too big. wink.gif

Got a ground beetle signed as Odoratus sambylensis
18mm.
Khakassia, South Altai, Saylugem h-2400m., 10. VII. 2004. Collector unknown.
But something doesn't fit.
Firstly, it seems that this taxon is reduced to mestscherjakovi shaman Shilenkov, 1996,
And secondly, the locale does not seem to dance.
If someone can help clarify the situation with this taxon, I would be very grateful

Ruslan, I think that it can be two variants - either Carabus (Morphocarabus) mestscherjakovi shaman Shilenkov, 1996 (= sambylensis Shilenkov, 1996). Specified for Z. Sayan. Or-Carabus (Morphocarabus) mestscherjakovi telezkianus Shilenkov, 1996. V. Altai, South Khakassia. Images are available on the website of A. Anishchenko.

I'm just vacillating between these two taxa. According to the description, it looks like shaman, but the locale is closer to telezkianus
