Here is such a tephritid (?) found on 1.08.2017 on the cornflower Centaurea nigra agg. in London:

Something is still missing, maybe it's not tephritida at all?

Very similar to Toxoneura modesta (Pallopteridae)

The typical saracophagus is nae, and the belly is iridescent checkered. That's all you can say without the drug without guessing in this subfamily.
Some common genera of miltogrammati-nae are quite characteristic (usually kleptoparasites in the nests of stinging eardrums, they are found on the soil there, often with a shiny conical forehead), and unusual ones, and species - the same situation.

From the jar where the hawk moth caterpillar was supposed to pupate in the ground, this fly flew out. The caterpillar died without pupating. Most likely, this is interrelated and coincided not by chance. Can you tell me what kind of fly it is? Moscow region, Istra district, yesterday. The caterpillar was a bedstraw hawk moth.

This is a lion fly, most likely Microchrysa polita. The larvae develop in soil, manure, and rotting wood. It is not a parasite and cannot be the cause of caterpillar death.

ktyr Leptogaster ??cylindrica
Thanks!
And these can also be identified? All three photos show the same pair of insects. Taken today in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

These, both male and female, should be recognized for life-the genus Sphaerophoria (there are several species, the most common scripta-and here I doubt it)
since they are hyperbanals, they are found there and everywhere, where there is almost nothing else to see. I mean,of course-we have it during the flight season.
Another of their ubiquitous friends is Syritta pipiens - with thickened thighs. It will be useful to distinguish.
