Yes it's a Cryptocephalinae larva

What should I feed them now?Moss already disappears.

What should I feed them now?The moss is already falling off.

They're detritus phages, as I recall.

On a sprig of lilac from the south, I found a pyramidal scoop. If anyone is interested in growing a butterfly out of it, take it away - I will definitely bend it.

In my opinion, this is the so-called "wireworm": the larva of the click beetle (Elateridae). In this case, it is unlikely that anyone will bring it to the species: there are great problems with determining their imago, and here the larva confused.gifis

It is worth reading what is written in red letters at the end of each post. And this is the larva of some lamellar beetle (Scarabaeidae). I will suggest three options: a rhinoceros beetle, a May beetle, or some kind of bronze beetle.

Please help me determine the type of caterpillar. I found it on a willow tree I bought from my grandmothers. I bought a willow tree on April 5, the caterpillar appeared on the 7th, photos were taken on April 30 and May 3. I live in Saratov, caterpillar, respectively, from the surrounding area.

I think Antitype chi

It is very similar to Antitype chi, but chi has a similar color already in the adult state, and here it is still the beginning of May; at this time, chi is very young and looks different.
Cleoceris scoriacea, which overwinters at the caterpillar stage, is more suitable.
