Thank you very much! Can you tell me what to do with it now? I've never bred a butterfly before.

take a cage / jar, fill the ground and lightly sprinkle the pupa and a couple of sticks vertically, so that when the butterfly comes out, it can climb on them and dry its wings. the butterfly will be released either later this year or on the trail.season.
p. S. cover the jar with cheesecloth on an elastic band and check every evening, because the butterfly is most likely nocturnal..

Hello!
I found such a caterpillar (St. Petersburg, on the sidewalk in new buildings, near only stunted lawns). Who is she and what does she eat?

More like Furcula bifida.

If you are from Karelia, it is interesting to get an imago.

Unfortunately, while photographing, a gust of wind blew away the leaf with the caterpillar and it was already impossible to find it.

It's not a camera that takes pictures, but a photographer. If you provide normal lighting, sharpness + cropping , you will get a picture that is quite suitable for detection.

And I totally agree with you. it's a pity you didn't see in what conditions, but, most importantly, what I had to do with those pictures...)))))))
