2. ?Calophasia lunula
3. Something familiar, I don't remember...
4. Acronicta euphorbiae
7. Probably something from the Heliothinae, but IMHO, not Helicoverpa armigera.
9. Melitaea ?cinxia
11. Acronicta tridens

It seems like something smile.giflike

Especially since I didn't see the answer .

The answer may not be there because no one knows exactly what kind of sawfly it is - there are fewer specialists in perepons on this forum than in beetles or butterflies. Wait for alex2611 to log in to the forum, and they will be able to help. Personally, I can definitely say that he is from sem. Cimbicidae, genus most likely Cimbex

I'm sorry, this will probably turn out to be a ground beetle of the genus Broscus. Although there are some doubts. If you have a copy at hand, take a look at the foot (there should be only 1 large claw).

hello everyone! I had a caterpillar at home last summer, but I can't find it in any determinant. What can you do for me?
it was black in color with transverse yellow-orange stripes between the segments. all over the body of the caterpillar were thick, evenly spaced hairs (i.e., not tufts) of black color. The caterpillar ate only mountaineer bird. during the summer, it shed twice. initially, it was about 2 cm long. by the fall, it had grown to 8 cm. after the first molt, long hairs appeared along the entire body along the back (it looked very much like a punk mohawk, if you look the caterpillar "in the eyes"). after the second molt, such long hairs covered the entire body of the caterpillar. and these hairs were soft and silky. in the fall, it never pupated in my jar and it was decided to let this miracle go (with the hope that it will pupate in nature)... and yet, before molting, the caterpillar's activity significantly decreased and its appetite fell in about a day. I don't know, but that might be important, too...

Among the caterpillar plant species on the site (Gramineae, Betula, Salix, Populus, Vicia, Rubus, Trifolium, Vaccinium, Geranium), there is no post Polygonum aviculare s.l.

The rest doesn't seem to fit... (I looked at the species feeding on gorets on the Internet.) In addition, larch is also not indicated here, and he ate it well from me!

No, it's not a water-lover, it's a caterpillar of one of the Cossidae. If it was in Europe, I would say that kossus kossus, but I'm afraid so...

13.05.2009 15:15, Grigory Grigoryev

It's the caterpillar of a cossida. Should pupate if spring shooting.
I remember that something similar wintered for me (Gus. from the Khasansky district, similar to Cossus cossus, only smaller and lighter), and I "patted" the butterfly-I completely forgot about it, and it managed to die in the box where the caterpillar wintered ...
