I almost made out the catocal. It remains to print some labels and so on little things. I lay out the first third. I'll post the rest in a few days.
PS I added another box, the rest by the end of the holidays...

I FINISHED ANALYZING THE CATOCALS. NO ONE UPDATED THE TOPIC, SO I'M ADDING NEW PHOTOS TO THIS POST.

I have completed work on the catocals for this winter, and the next step is the Arctids. I hope to sort out 3-4 boxes over the holidays.

I finally finished off a box of leaf beetles from the Clytrinae-Cryptocephalinae group. Everything is here with the exception of a few " exotics "(Far East; Wed. Asia) that are on the definition...
A lot of interesting things came to light while A. O. B. was sorting them out, identifying them, and checking them for me, for example, the mass Labidostomis lepida, and L. tridentata - only one samets, Cryptics in the collections - 27 species from the YAO..., there are also infrequent ones...

Cool!!! And I have only 21 species of cryptocephalus, 4 pachybrachis and 1 stylozomus smile.gif

And what are the small green cryptocephaluses in the row below the clitras? Do you really have such a massive solivagus?

And I most likely have 1 pachybrachis, but all those given for determination turned out to be females and A. B. ordered to catch males in order to accurately identify the species...

I fully support it, but we don't get lepidus very often either

And I have only 3 solivagus from different places, I gave two to Benkovsky, and one is worth it. Not a frequent bug.... sericeus dominates the flowers.
I also try to pull all the pachybrachis, but so far they are mostly females and we have to determine their morphological characteristics. This is quite reliable if the beetle has a typical color.

I'm starting to clean up the bear tanks. As always, God forbid I have time to clean up 20% over the winter, and by the next winter it turns out to be a garbage dump again. To begin with, two boxes of microarctins, our own and North American.

Sergey, and how much per day is it possible to straighten?

Sergey, and how much per day is it possible to straighten?

Very little. When I work - a maximum of ten, and now, when the holidays and daily drinking and even less. If you have a quiet day off - 30. This is Tolik (beetle), 150 pieces a day straightens, but he is a professional, I will never be enough for so smile.gifmuch

I would advise you to glue all the little things, but not to prick them-they will be more intact.

Thank you very much, I am very pleased with such an assessment-yours and other participants. Oh, many labels were made quickly, as "temporary", but, of course, there is nothing more... I will definitely replace it, in one word)

in the new season, perhaps, I will test the dies. In general, I keep small insects on mattresses, especially with delicate covers, like some" weak body " hemerobia)

Don't you have the desire (or the ability) to arrange material in boxes by squad and family?

yes, I confess, there is a lot of confusion, the reason for the lack of space, mainly. And - I think you will understand - the desire to protect the most interesting specimens from leatherworms. however, I still keep it intact) Here.

And I once started my hobby with barbel beetles, which now seems rather strange to me. I collected this collection in 2007-2010 and haven't added much to it since. In those days, I was just beginning to learn the basics, and hence such a stupid rasp "in the splinter"... there's already plagionotus's paw flying off (

I picked up a few more bears. Added oknogin to the box with microarctins. Callimorphin sorted them all out.
I added Anaxita to them in the box. There are still 6 species in this genus, but I haven't collected them yet. If anyone has other species of this genus, it would be good to put up photos.
