that's all our diurnal
questions there for a number of species will probably be questions-the Briseida - not native - is extinct in our country and the closest populations are slightly different in appearance and 1 or 2 more taxa are likely in our country.

I'm just in case. As one artist said, you can't spoil Masha Castle. You never know what there is: suddenly someone wants to buy the same one, so it's better to look for it on sale by its full name. And on manufacturers ' websites, if you want to study the parameters of a particular model, you usually need to enter (or select) its exact name.

In the file properties, by the way, it is not so much the model that attracts attention, but rather the relatively modest resolution-despite the fact that the original files are very heavy. Although the images, with a small size of the object, turned out fine. But it is better to set a higher resolution for shooting insects.

I'll dilute the butterflies with leaf beetles... Almost all representatives of the Chrysomelinae subfamily (with the exception of the genera Phaedon and Phratora) were analyzed during the New Year holidays and after them...

I have three specimens of Rhysothorax rufus collected over several years in the center of Yaroslavl in fountains on the banks of the Volga River. Coordinates: Latitude: 57.619280231851015 Longitude: 39.90422687551472.
But I do not know how to catch them specifically.

Thanks! Only digging the sandy banks of the Volga River in the city center will not work...

11.03.2014 16:41, Penzyak

Dmitry, do you have a beetle on the banks or tributaries of the Volga?:

Ivanov's dung beetle-Aphodius ivanovi Lebedev, 1912. In the region noted Dmitriev G. V. (1926). Beetles were collected in April-May on the sandy bank of the Penza River, on a plot overgrown with mother and stepmother and covered with drying silt.

I can't find this species in the Penza region, only literature data, I would like to enter it in the CC.

11.03.2014 17:14, AGG

Oleg, I found this species in my Rzhaksinsky district on the Vorona River in the first days (1-9) of May. The water had just subsided and they were running through the drying sand with a layer of silt around the bird droppings. Only mother-and-stepmother is not there, but there is a whitefly

Aphodius ivanovi in the vicinity of Volgograd crawls en masse in late March and early April along the sandy banks of the Volga River for two or three days in the first hot days of early spring. Then it disappears until the next year.
