Today, my otiorinhi have found a permanent "home". Next to them "settled" Mesostylini, Trachyphloeini and Peritelini.
I left a lot of empty space on purpose, so to speak, for the future.

Thank you Honza for the inspiration! And to everyone who shared the material!

sorry for the quality of the photo, it didn't work out better(((

I apologize for some off-topic, but this is, in a sense, also a collection! Early 20th-century entomological paraphernalia that came to me today from London. Most entomological pins were then made of silver.

Yes, photos of the collection are displayed only by beetles, sometimes something large tropical from butterflies, but... No, the beetles look amazing! So neatly accurately and scrupulously arranged-super! But I would like to see something from the scaly nightsmile.gif, I probably won't have time to bring it to the "showcase" view soon. I don't even have time to sort it out badly. Only a few boxes of the smallest groups of bears were scattered by species. I put up these boxes. There are still a dozen boxes of catocals dismantled, but I'm not sure that such a narrow group is of interest to a wide circle...

"caja france" - is it natural or derived ?

27.03.2016 22:15, Sergey Didenko

I have broods, although this stable form is also found in nature (and not necessarily in France, I saw it from Belarus and the Southern Urals). A much rarer form of dark brown from Austria, I have not seen such caught in nature, and with their breeding difficulties. Who could-that is no longer, the rest does not work, a very rare form.

Come on, Slava, don't be silly. Moth is a group where many people work, because there is the greatest chance of describing new taxa. Katokaly is not a pop band, but a commercial band, the material is expensive, but aesthetically very pleasant smile.gif. Here is your group - thinworms-really narrow, because there are so few of them caught that it is necessary to deal with them ... By the way the group is also very commercial smile.gif

do many people work with moles?? I'm begging you)) you can count the specialists on your fingers. collectors are hardly interested in them. there are a lot of troubles with them (collecting, tattooing, straightening, everything is very small) and there is little aesthetics. We still need to try to find a new species.
the fact that thin-shells are a commercial group, there is no doubt, the prices for them sometimes break space...
waiting for your catocals, in short smile.gif

I tried several times to display 13 photos of catocal boxes. The anti-spam filter doesn't let you through. It takes quite a long time to attach files, you can only do it by the piece, I don't know if I will have more time for this. Idiotic system frown.gif

03.04.2016 13:23, Sergey Didenko

Another attempt to display photos. I don't believe it will work anymore. Without photos, messages pass, but as soon as I attach at least one, they tell me that my message was blocked by a spam filter. I wrote to the administrator, but he's obviously on vacation smile.gif
So - not fate, catocals are not only pop, they are also spam!
Wow, a picture of 5 boxes attached, I'll try others. There should be 8 Palearctic regions and 5 North American regions. The photo of the first box did not want to be attached, I try further...the second passed, the third passed. The fourth - passed, the sixth-passed, the seventh-also, the eighth-OK. Again I try loose ones. The first one passed, and the second one also passed. I try North American all at once. In general, to prevent the spam filter from working, you need to change something in the message text after attaching the photo.
There are some inaccuracies in the boxes. I called one subspecies described a few months ago a species on the label, but I didn't make red labels for another new species smile.gif

Great! a good selection. pleasing to the eye!)

Some dubious expression smile.gif"Good selection" somehow cuts the ear, usually this expression is applied to publications, music or video works.
When you catch many specimens with "sweat and blood"smile.gif, sometimes in terrible conditions, and not all catocals just fly and land on the screen, but you need to come up with various tricks to catch them... Slava, did you want to tease me or did you put it badly? Can you tell me where else I can "pick up" the missing copies? smile.gif And by the way, where is your good selection of thin shells, really interesting to see.

Yes, Nikolai, there are not enough red labels on this speciessmile.gif, but so far I have a collection with a huge number of holes from the missing taxa. 30 percent is definitely not enough, maybe even more...
