Do you have scoops and moths?

I didn't collect them

While there is still material. I'm not sure that many people have it in their collections, even if it's of this quality...

Still, you need to respect your collections in order to put quality in them. But this is purely my opinion

It all depends on the needs of the collector or professional.
Broken yolks can be useful to someone for genetics, can be useful for studying variability, and so on.
Try out Verhulst, Bob Voti, or Grieshuber. If the points are interesting for them, they will pick them up. These are the most powerful collectors of colias. Everyone has more than 20 thousand in the collection and not only luxury quality. Butterflies are not brands and carry serious scientific content in addition to aesthetic ones. For example, for 10 pairs of Crimean zorek eufeme, I would not equate to one such butterfly from Omsk. Entomology, my friends, is not philately.

Of course, entomology is not philately, but according to the survey, only 18% of forum members collect collections for scientific purposes. Of course, the proposed material is of scientific value to some, but the remaining 82%, as I understand it, are amateurs like me. Personally, I don't have many platitudes in my collection, well, I can't put a yolk without a luxurious fringe or a pretty flying hawk moth next to a luxury copy, even if it was the first time I came across it, and that's it.
My collections are not studied by anyone but me, and therefore, I want to review the collection to receive only positive feedback, but I don't criticize anyone, since they don't argue about tastes. That's the kind of idealist I am, don't judge me harshly.

It's not that I can't put my hand in a box-I don't even want to catch it.This is a natural "kosilovo", if you catch flying, torn and broken ones. And also sell such material... mad.gifI don't like such" comers "

Lm: I love my collection, and I love perfect specimens. but still, when there is no ideal I put and not very ideal - I don't like to put completely killed, except if this ex is not connected with something special or is not special itself )
Nevertheless, I put various disadvantages if there is no other perspective, as well as for the completeness of the collection, and for studying-both independently and independently)
As a result, the poor material is replaced with luxury. But there is always material for comparison, for studying the group - especially when there are many similar species in the group, but there is not enough material.

Just, I think. here you need to be simpler, and try to keep the copy perfectly, and not consider a non-perfect copy as a de* * mo, not worthy of a collection, especially if you are also interested in learning, and not just bright colors under glass.

Quality criteria are an issue worth discussing.
And as for merchants who sell broken material, this is bad, but when a person writes to a merchant himself and asks for cheap broken material, this is another matter. If a person is doing phenetic research - or genetics-why would they need a suite?
Yes, and it is not a pity to give such material.
A beautifully staged and high-quality collection is a benchmark for someone to strive for. And there are such collections, for example, the Brick collection in Leiden. Thousands of parnassiuses of excellent quality and perfect spacing

And the alignment of prices is such
a luxury - 100%
A -, legie minus 50%
strong minus A - 10-25%
B (beating) 1-10%
It all depends on the agreement. For example, a person writes-I will buy Mongolian yolks and broken nasties on polevro. You send him a couple of hundred of these butterflies and another hundred as a gift so that they don't hang out.
There is no hard installation. There are people who are ready to hang themselves for every penny, and there are those who look at things more simply. And I make it easier for everyone to look at things. ОК!

Roman, it has already been said here that the main mass of forum members are collectors.I know only two people who are really engaged in science here. And you're not dealing with egg yolks.

Of course, I do not deal with egg yolks, I have only 400 pieces in the collection and described only 2 subspecies smile.gif
