I looked at myself and it turned out that I also found the same "wrong" female.
It is followed by 3 more Pachyta quadrimaculata Linnaeus, 1758 for comparison.
All beetles are collected at different times (dates in the file name) Here: M. O. Balashikha district, Zheleznodorozhny district.
P.S. I'll add it for your interest: this female is "taken" during mating with a properly colored male!!!

A little bit of Brachyta interrogationis Linnaeus, 1758 from the Moscow region.
What a changeable sawyere.
It is also noteworthy that where I live I have never found it!!!
And at the dacha (another district of the Moscow region) as much as you want.
All beetles were collected on 13.06.2004 in one place. Here: M. O. Sergiev Posad district, okr. der. Golkovo.

Well, then, from here, the wrongly laid out Lepturini should be moved to this place:

Or rename this topic to Lepturinae, Cerambycidae and all that, otherwise it really turns out to be some kind of confusion. But in general, you can also divide it into tribes as you suggest.

First, it is enough to rename this one (it is the largest of the three) and the rest
here. And then there are really too many identical beetles, but in different themes. Yesterday I thought thoroughly where should I put my smile.gifbrachits

I would like to be very wrong, but I think it is hopeless to lure Akimerus schaefferi into frown.gifthe traps . I have never caught it myself, but according to available information, this beetle is practically not found on flowers, but develops in the roots of deciduous trees (oak). Therefore, it is considered rare because it is not clear where and how to catch it systematically (the finds are rather random, and therefore isolated).

I have heard that he soars between the trunks until noon and when the sun is hot, he sits on the trunks in the shade. Last year Zubov caught one on a gauze trunk bait, so there is a reason to lose a couple of days sitting in a ring of these smelly bandages. I know the territory of its dominance well because last year I caught 5 pieces there, saw 7 more and last year I caught Teeth 100 meters from that place, so I think it's worth a try

Hurray!!! jump.gif Maybe I'm really wrong!!! In the" Fishing Reports " in the message URL #5030, wise snake reports that the first akimerus has flown to its wine bait!!!

Akimerusy here perfectly fly to the wine braga: the cheapest red wine + honey (sugar) + yeast. During the day, they fly among the oaks in well-warmed areas - you can shoot them down on the fly or catch them with a net, just as many in the crowns; I have repeatedly found them sitting on the leaves and twigs of various shrubs. They also fly well into crown traps with the same braga or rotten apples. Along with the akimeruses are the Kelleri purpuricenuses. Also, both species grow regularly on oak trees with flowing sap.
After lunch, it is possible to find females on the trunks of shrinking oaks, and the same trees are visited. This year we have a lot of them.

Here are some fresh ones, I caught them last weekend.

As you can see, none of them looks like the previous beetle.

I think it is. Barbels generally don't seem to like dirty air. Not far from St. Petersburg, there seem to be suitable places for barbels, but there are almost no beetles. There are also few of them near automobile and railway roads. And if you go further away, you'll get a lot of barbels.

I don't agree! There is another reason, for example, the lack of a substrate...
In Yaroslavl, Lepturobosca lives in a pine forest surrounded by residential areas and roads with active traffic (approximately like Sosnovka Park in St. Petersburg)...
