Here is Mikey from the Volgograd region
This year for the first time encountered these wonderful beetles and immediately fell in love, although the rest of the abscesses slightly favor.

I like everyone. They show off, almost like daytime butterflies... smile.gif

What a strange pusilla. I have never seen any specimens that are colored otherwise than with stripes on the elytra.

Well, of course a mistake! When I signed it a long time ago, it was clearly "sealed" smile.gif
This is with a 90% probability of Mylabris sibirica.

I do not think that the definition of abscesses from the Penza region is at least somewhat problematic. Yes, and "quite a lot" is how much?
And the size and color, varying in an extremely wide range, is the norm for many genera of abscesses.

Yes, I also think that in the Penza region the species composition will be quite poor, with a maximum of 20-25 species. But, we are very interested in abscesses, because currently Sergey Shibaev is very sensibly studying the fauna of bees, and I have been interested in straight-winged ones for some time (of which I have already collected a lot)... So we will be extremely grateful in the definition of abscesses. We certainly don't collect C. schreberi or C. schaefferi in dozens at one point, I think there will be several hundred copies (don't forget. that we don't look for them on purpose - we take them along the way).

So post a photo here. I think we will work together to determine that this is not Central Asia.
