Allow me to return to our Primorye. The image shows Ellida viridimixta (formerly Urodonta). In the southern part of Primorye, butterflies were found from the first half of May to the end of September.

Dear MOROZZ, you have under the photo signed:

Hupodonta pulcherrima corticalis
Tanigawa-onsen, Minakami, 25.08.1981

Q: why don't you want to consider corticalis a species?
It seems that this butterfly is listed in the Far East as Hupodonta corticalis.
Yes, and the Japanese have the same.

The copy dates back as far as 81. Without understanding, I posted it as it was signed. I use Iserskiy, there is also pulcherrima.
Although, I looked in more detail, just pulcherrima seems to be common in India and Indochina.

Returning to the fauna of Primorye, I want to present to the attention of forum members a very cute "moth" - Garpyia tokui.
The butterfly flies in May and is not found everywhere.

Male: Ussuriysky district, May 1990
Female: Khasansky district, May 2007

P.S. The fauna of Russia is represented by only 3 species of this genus:
- G. umbrosa (quite common in the Far East, more often in June)
- G. tokui
- G. milhauseri (everything is clear with it)

The gallery already had images of Dicranula ulmi, I would like to add a very similar view of Dicranula tzvetaevi from Primorye.
<url>. Chistyakov from Vladivostok considers it a subspecies of ulmi.
The butterfly is larger, the range, to put it mildly, is torn ... So there are different ways to position this taxon ...

AntSkr gave me an idea with the help of arrow keys.
That we are all imago, yes imago. Caterpillars are also eligible for publication.
For example, the caterpillar Furcula furcula (most likely), unfortunately infected.

So, I decided to add to the Drymonia genus.
I start, of course, with Primorye: Drymonia dodonides, a couple
male Ussuri district June 2003
female Khasansky district August 2004

In MOROZZZa, this species has already been introduced by EX from Japan, but, nevertheless, let it be a Russian version.

I propose to continue the tour of our former glorious Homeland-the USSR.
Beautiful Tajikistan..., botanical garden in kish. Kondara (Varzob gorge).
... and an unusual butterfly, described only in 1980 by Shchetkin. Hence the genus Juriavalentinia (Shchetkin - Yuri, his wife - Valentina).
I don't know the total number of detected imagos, but there are definitely not many of them. We only got one, and thank you for that!
I represent-Juriavalentinia karaganaeca

Next, the most" mysterious " for me crested bird of the genus Cerura-in our opinion, the harpy:
AFTER THE REVISION, THE SPECIES WAS CALLED Cerura viidaleppi Schintlmeister, 2208 (previously considered Cerura himalayana). This is a desert "tugai" species, best known in the USSR from the Tigrovaya Balka Nature Reserve in Tajikistan, on the very border with Afghanistan. It was not so easy to get there before, and even more so after the collapse of the USSR, the war in Afghanistan ,and then the civil war in Tajikistan itself... but people are sneaking in!
