I figured out the background lightening myself (in photoshop), the rest of the questions remain valid

"Or maybe," she said, " this scan!" - Did you try to photograph them at all?
- I understand that super-specialists use all sorts of tricky gadgets , but try it! "it will only get better.
You just need to shoot on a tripod, and in the "M" mode, and in the "live view", so that the exposure can be clearly edited. You can also try it in "gipega". And don't exceed the diffraction limit (find out what it is). Use the flash only with a diffuser. Play around with the white balance. Strengthen the insect purely perpendicular. Also, try experimenting with bracketing.
- And the blurriness, maybe from the fact that the scanner settings can adjust the depth of field?
And another thing: - the depth of field segment from the focus point will always be more far away than towards itself.
And you can even do without a macro lens if you have 70-300.

Today, in the corridor of the academic building, under the feet of students(almost crushed), I managed to pick up a strange insect - I've never caught such insects. picture: IMG946.jpgpicture: IMG947.jpgpicture: IMG950.jpg
It can't fly, and its right wing is damaged. Gave a drop of bee honey-uses.

Edmund Reitter "Die Kaefer des Deutschen Reiches" FAUNA GERMANICA

Use the links on the page to download PDF copies of all five volumes.
Or on the Zinovsky site itself, all the color tables are in good quality (not all ice tables are in the original PDF).
P.S. Something stormozil message six months ago lol.gif

Question about the image from https://www.zin.ru/Animalia/Coleoptera/rus/rtttab0.htm
There are vertical lines next to the insect images. What's it? Some kind of scale ruler? What are they equal to? There were also crosses (in the biology of Central America, for example, the vertical line is crossed out by a horizontal one).

hello everyone. In the summer, I found a caterpillar when I was picking blueberries, managed to turn it into a cocoon and put it in the refrigerator on the shelf,I read how to grow it here on the site... And just recently, 4 days ago, I came out of the cocoon, I was shocked that I got out so early. And okay, I put it in a terrarium, chattered every night, waited for the male apparently. Now again in shock, laid eggs even without a male. Probably there is no chance to save future caterpillars. Why did you get up early? she should get up at the end of April.. I identified it as peacock eye malaya

it's already overdue..you won't get a response..you can't even ask on this site..

I didn't see anything like this on your link, but the description looks like the designation of the body length (vertical line) and wingspan (horizontal line) of an insect. You apply a ruler to them and these secrets are revealed. Works only for paper books or properly formatted image files.

In general, a strange topic with a large hodgepodge of posts - it is not surprising that they are rarely answered.

I looked at the very first one (like the best one?) the image is a very mediocre stacking result with eye-catching artifacts. Eduardo Modolo gets a Strong fi from me!
