Transferring photos to a taxon that is not defined or is defined only up to the order Lepidoptera

Community and ForumWebsite news and updatesTransferring photos to a taxon that is not defined or is defined only up to the order Lepidoptera

Peter Khramov, 09.09.2015 18:01

I remind you: in the past we have not had the opportunity to transfer photos supraspecific taxa and subspecies (transfers were only types), and now there is.
Concerning:
1.The request to the photographers: Startup (also while editing photos in the Personal Area), please indicate at least some taxa to which this image is (even at the level of the order or even higher).
2. Request to all: from time to time to go to the page http: // insecta.pro / ru / gallery? prec = 8 (a gallery with photos that are not assigned to any taxon, even to the order and higher) and to prescribe in the comments, "the definition of" at least to a high taxon.
3. Another request to all: how much is enough to walk through the pages of patience http://insecta.pro/gallery?sp=1 (a gallery with photos automatically translated into the "definition" to the order Lepidoptera, ie,those that were previously considered at all "undefined") and register in the commentary to the definition of a lower taxon.
Pp. 2 and 3 are needed for modernizing seeing your comments relevant foty moved to the specified (or lower) taxa.
4. Moderator: pp. 2 and 3 plus immediately transfer the photos to the taxa.

Whew ... to minimize this page. At the moment, there are my two certain barbel that keeps on controlling person (waiting places taxa). And a certain definition and waiting for confirmation Far Moth.
To be honest - pretty tired ((.Therefore, I support the request of Peter's statement at least once to any taxon if you think on it, and if it is in the database. And then - face it.
Now the site just expanded. Correspondingly and "overgrown" was like a rocket.
P.S. Peter, there are some species stuck in the admin. Its clear he did not. Then we shall understand: species appear more simply not in the database.
